The BloorMill Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, small animal veterinary hospital located in Etobicoke, Ontario providing medical, surgical and dental care for all breeds of dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rodents and pocket pets. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, the Doctors at the BloorMill Veterinary Hospital stress the importance of the Annual Physical Examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help identify problems early and alleviate or avoid more serious health issues later. Our Doctors at the BloorMill Veterinary Hospital are all proud graduates of the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. Known as one of the finest Veterinary Colleges in the world our Veterinarians have extensive training second to none. Dr. Mak was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canada when she was a young child.

Our laboratory is well-equipped to provide the diagnostic tests that your pets may require. Amazing service. My cat sees Dr. Wise and she is phenomenal. Very informative and takes her time to answer any questions that you may have. I am a new pet owner and I appreciate her addressing all of my concerns and being transparent. The whole staff are friendly!

Great staff to deal with and treat your pets well but they have over extended themselves. If your pet is having an emergency don't bother they won't have time for you and will recommend you go elsewhere; this isn't a one off. Once my guy had an eye infection and it took them two days to get in at which point it was pretty bad. The next time was a severe allergic (hives from head to hind) reaction and again they told me to go elsewhere. Might be time for them to find a new facility where they can have more vets and vet techs otherwise more comments like this will start popping up.

Amazing vet! Everyone loves their dog, but I LOVE my dog [Nike] with my entire heart and soul. I took Nike to a few vets [in Etobicoke] and they all made me feel like the only thing that mattered was charging me and charging me a lot. One vet even refused to answer a simple question over the phone, unless I brought Nike in. I told them I'd never go back, because it was obvious what mattered to them. I then found BloorMill Vet, they're absolutely phenomenal, they truly care and very reasonable when it comes to cost. Great people! Has always been a really positive experience. Highly recommend them

It a great place for your pet (dog in my case). The personnel is super friendly and very helpful. The vet is really kind thorough with the explanation and followed up with us after the lab results for our dog. It turned out to be benign issue. We are happy with the treatment from the personnel and would highly recommend it for your pet. It will be in good hands.

I highly recommend this clinic! I became a new patient when my senior cat started developing respiratory issues. The vet was very kind and informative about what she thought was going on, what her recommendations were, and what my options were. I never felt pressured to do one thing or another, and she was honest with me about the prognosis for my cat. She had me email her daily videos of my cat’s chest so she could check her respiration rate (something I wasn’t comfortable with doing myself), and tried various methods within my budget to help her. We love this place!! We have been coming here since our 1.5 year old cat was a kitten and never left and will never, ever leave. We have heard so many bad stories about other people's experiences with their vets... but we got lucky to have found the best people to care for our furbabies. Dr Wise and staff are the best animal people and you can tell that they really care for the animals they see. Our 2 mo puppy came in for her first shots and got home like nothing even happened... a sign of a good visit, I believe. Thank you to the Bloor Mill Vet team!

I brought my bunny here recently because he was having a minor problem in one eye and my regular vet was a 3 week wait. The staff were all very nice and caring and at the time I appreciated their help. I was then given a bad diagnoses on a minor issue and told an expensive route for recommended appointments and testing, so that was a big shock to me and really emotionally difficult to process. After getting an urgent appointment at my regular specialized vet he told me the definite diagnoses I was given was not at all what was going on, and it turned out to be much less serious. I know these things

The vets are knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Wise always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and my dog really loves visiting the vet - something I never thought would happen! I never feel like I ask too many questions or am rushed out of an appointment and I always feel satisfied that my dog is being well taken care of! He is reactive and barks quite a bit but the staff really know how to handle him and always make arrangements for safe arrival (such as scheduling an appointment when there are no other dogs around). It makes me happy that I don't have to worry about him while he is there

We have used this but since the day we got our cat RJ to the day he died . We called the bed 3 days prior to R j's death We were told that we would have to way until the Wednesday to see a vet. But the… secretary decided it tell us about the mob I'll bet that they use the mobile vet just to come to our home was going to be $300 that's not on top of anything they do for our cat so in turn The Visit would have been over a $1000. Then we are told to go to the emergency vegetarian clinic but what they don't tell you is what time they open they open at 6:00 p.m. one hour prior to 6:00 p.m. my

I have two 10 yr old pugs. Over my 10 years i have moved a few times and had different vets. This has been, by far, the best i have been to and have been using them for 5 or so years. Where some vets made recommendations for pricey procedures and services, Dr. Wise has on a few occasions given me options and steered me away from costly and unnecessary tests and procedures. I saw a complaint about price here and so i wanted to share my years of positive experience.

My mother has had a horrible experience with Dr Wise (not sure of the spelling). Her 2 year old dog had some GI issues and this doctor totally overreacted ordered every test in the book and scared my 78 year old mother by talking about surgery as a next step, wanting to keep the dog for 2 days for observation etc. Took the vet and 2 tech to get… blood from a 20lb poodle mix who is extremely friendly. This is a young dog that had no temperature, stool was clear of parasites and nothing in the vomit. She is not a chewer that she would eat something large enough to cause a blockage. She did
