The launch of our new website meant it was time to refresh my bio as well! It's an interesting exercise to reflect back on a career that has spanned 32 years. I have come to realize that being a general practitioner and practice owner fulfils 2 different but important roles: it satisfies my enjoyment of puzzles and problem solving and it thwarts any risk of boredom as no 2 days are ever the same!

Services
Our veterinarians are trained and equipped to address emergency situations that may arise with your pet. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of toxins, motor vehicle accident, and chocolate ingestion. If you have a pet emergency, do not hesitate to call or come directly to the hospital.
Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital has been providing care and promoting wellness for family pets since 1997. Cat Friendly Certified : A certified cat friendly practice has made a commitment to ensuring that cats are treated in the most humane and compassionate way possible.
We believe that it is our responsibility to share our success with our local and global community. Our participation in charitable causes, both human and animal, is our way of doing so. Every year we also ask our Chicopee Hills Family to participate in our Fundraise for Farley month and we are never disappointed.
Patients are seen by appointment. If you arrive as a walk in, we will do our best to see you and your pet as soon as possible. However, you should understand that priority is given to clients who have a scheduled appointment. All clients are notified 24-48 hours prior to their appointment. At this time, we will remind you of any specific instructions based on the appointment reason or as per the recommendations of our doctors.
We are happy to provide you with a quotation for services in advance of your appointment. Please let the attending veterinarian know if you would like prices quoted prior to any diagnostic tests being carried out. There are many insurance options for pets. Feel free to discuss this option with any staff member.

One of the best animal hospitals around! We've been taking our pup (Link) to the chicopee vet since he was weeks old. I drive 45 minutes out of my way just to bring my pup there. They're all so sweet and helpful, their always asking as many questions possible to make sure that they can diagnose what it is ailing your pet. The Dr's are always following up with phone calls after vet visits 😀 to make sure all is well.

This vet office is amazing.. They took great care of my darling boy Not Spot (rat) very polite and professional knowledgeable about rats..They even called a few days later to check on Not Spot to see if he was feeling better From now on my babies including my cats and dogs will only go see the vets at this place. Thank you Chicopee for being the best vet clinic around ...

Dr. Croft & Cowper, along with the team, are the most professional, fair, empathetic, and caring people. We have an Australian Shepard, a white short hair cat (16 years), and recently transitioned our 19.5 year old tuxedo short-hair cat, Cyrus to his forever rest, after a loving, and nurturing palliative regime, set out by Dr. Croft. Our other family members visit Chicopee Hills with our other family pets too, and we all just love the easy to understand approach this animal hospital has with their clients and patients. Nothing but trust, love, and a great appreciation from us, to have Chicopee
