Services
Every member of our dental team works diligently to stay on top of the latest research, employ the most advanced technology, and continually sharpen their clinical skills. The end result is a practice that's able to handle everything from standard checkups and cleanings to complex full-mouth reconstructions and everything in between.
After graduating in 1984 from the University of Toronto with an Honors science degree focused in Dentistry, Dr. Robert Cappell dedicated his life to caring for his patients. Dr. Robert Cappell brings over 35 years of experience. In his career he has completed well over 10,000 root canals and 10,000 crowns, along with many other services.
I have been practicing dentistry since 1976 when I graduated from Johannesburg University in South Africa. In 1990, with our three very young children, my wife and I both nervously and enthusiastically emigrated to Toronto. Almost immediately, I partnered with Dr. Rob Cappell at Lawrence Square Dental; Dentistry in Motion.
After graduating high school, Dr. Jimmy did his Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery at Meenakshi University in Chennai, India. He received his DDS after graduating from the University of Alberta in 2016. He had since become a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.

First time here. Booked a cleaning. Hygienist asked to take X-rays. I agreed. During cleaning she says because we took X-rays we are out of time to finish her job. Told me to come back another 2 times. First time ever in 30 years was I told to come back because job not done. January 20, 2022 appointment

I have been a patient at Dentistry in Motion for over 30 years. The dentists and hygienists are extremely gifted, gentle and knowledgeable. All the latest technology is in place. The other staff are all so pleasant and helpful. Everything is so well organized. Very little wait time, very high COVID standards of practice. I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs.
