Owl Education is for elementary, middle, secondary, and even post-secondary students who are struggling academically, but whose academic challenges stem-at least in part-from underlying social-emotional challenges, and/or learning disabilities. It is also for students who are not struggling academically; rather, who are primarily experiencing social-emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions.
With Owl Education, I integrate tutoring & counselling. I help clients, ages 6+, to identify and to use strategies (that incorporate their interests and skills) to understand and to manage challenges. We work on academics while we tackle other issues, and in the process, clients become empowered to find success in school & beyond.

At the beginning of the school year, my son began attending a new school. He was anxious and felt isolated, not having built any solid friendships. He was having difficulties in math and especially joining in on any group projects. I contacted a tutoring company, explained my situation and was assigned Gigi as his tutor.
