Stacey is a registered clinical counsellor and transpersonal psychotherapist in Victoria, BC who offers counselling sessions to individuals, couples, and groups.
Services
Stacey Campbell is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. She graduated from Naropa University, located in Boulder, Colorado, with a Masters Degree inTranspersonal Counselling Psychology. Buddhist inspired and experiential in nature, Naropa University is one of the few schools in North America that offer a full three year Masters program in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology.
Stacey believes we all possess the resources within ourselves to transform our lives for the better. She passionately guides her clients on a journey of discovering this basic truth as they transform their suffering into peace. Stacey encourages her clients to explore living as the best versions of themselves: healthy and whole human beings that are thriving in this world and not just surviving within it.

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on how our thinking affects the way we feel or behave. It is an action-oriented model of therapy that stresses the role of thoughts and belief systems as the root cause of pain and suffering.

CBT encourages clients to engage in a cognitive restructuring process of replacing negative internal thinking patterns with more positive ones in an effort to change detrimental feelings and actions.The basic goal is to teach clients how to change their dysfunctional emotions and behaviours into healthy ones.
Suffering comes in many forms. It can be experienced emotionally, mentally, physically and even spiritually. Suffering can show up in our lives unexpectedly.

It can be experienced as heartache when someone close to us leaves, as anxiety when we replay the same worst case scenario over and over in our minds, as a stomachache because we ate too much chocolate cake, or it can even be a feeling of emptiness and fear when we think about our life--what's the meaning?The purpose?
