Absolutely inedible. The rice looked dirty, and it had burnt black chunks in it that I am unsure what it even was. Was apparently pork fried rice but came with slimy strips of chicken (I think) on top of it. The deep fried “prawns” didn’t even have any prawns in them. The won ton soup was also disgusting. Do not ever go to this place. I even walked back in to return the food and the lady didn’t even ask any questions she just said “oh you don’t like it” and gave my money back immediately. She must be used to it by now. Would give zero stars if I could.

Jim and his family have run this resturant for at least 30 years. My family have enjoyed their food and hospitality for the same time. Always consistently good western style Chinese food, with extras.
Great food, excellent service; done by a caring local generational community minded family.

My delivery came in super quickly which I was initially stoked on. They said 30-40 minutes and it was here within 10-15. I now see why. The rice was watery and vegetables also tasted watered-down and old. It tasted like I was given food made hours beforehand. Won't be going here again as it was not at all enjoyable. I'm bummed especially after hearing so many good things about this local place.

The only thing that has me disappointed about this place is the bad rap and reviews that it gets.
The food is very good for the price you pay. In Victoria you're going to pay at least 1.5x the price you will pay here for the same quality food at any other buffet in town. Best value in the CRD by far.
