Ricky Ratchets Auto Repair, the creation of owner Rick McMullin, opened it's doors in October of 1993. It's first location at 565 Third Street in London was soon outgrown and in 1995 the business was moved to it's current location at 140 Clarke Road in London. Rick was raised around cars since early childhood.
Ricky Ratchets Auto Repair has a fully equipped shop to handle your repair needs. We use advanced computer diagnostic testing equipment to ensure your vehicle's health and longevity. We also handle air conditioning and radiator cooling system service and repairs. No credit checks, no income verification, at Go To Loans we provide instant Auto Repair Loans ranging from $500 to $10,000 up to 48 month terms.

My Jeep was vandalized badly and ended up being a write off (downtown London living I guess), and I thus had used snow tires that I no longer needed. I shopped around to get the best price, and came in to get a quote for the set.
I had a rough idea what I could get for them and was happy to get a fairer price for them from Ricky compared to other places selling used winter tires.

I cannot thank RR enough. Not only did they squeeze us in last minute and stay late before the long weekend but they were able to get our van back in drivable condition working within our limited budget. Last weekend we went back to London for a quick visit and found ourselves with truck problems on a Saturday! Thankfully the friendly and helpful staff at Ricky Ratchets were not only OPEN but able to help us out! Although parts needed to be ordered he was able to lend us a vehicle so we could enjoy the remainder of the family visit and also get all… 5 of us (10 month, 3 yr & 5 yr included) back to Belleville for work. I was given updates through the entire process via text message and was able to pick up my truck a few days later. I would highly recommend making Ricky Ratchets your mechanic

This place, is the best place to go to for your car!
They are very honest about your car. They will tell you what needs to be done Now and what can wait.
Take for example my car. A 2005 Honda Civic with Well over 300 thousand clicks.
My car was just chugging along and I knew there was something wrong. I take it in to Ricky's and now it drives like dream!
The customer service is Absolutely outstanding!
From the receptionist to the fellow that will drive you home! Or pick you up from college in my case!
I highly recommend this place!

Can't believe this place gets any business. I suppose it's due to the high pressure sales tactics of the staff which is supported by the ownership. I took my van in for a tune up and was told I needed an inspection to see if I really needed a tune up. I was surprised at this because I walked in saying I needed a tune up. I have some mechanical background but don't have a big enough shop nor the tools needed. I was frustrated at the pressure being put on me to get the inspection but finally said ok.
