I have been going to Hello Gorgeous for almost 10 years and I have NEVER had anything but the best results. Brenda is an expert colourist, often encouraging you to switch it up and try something new with stunning and dramatic results that you won't regret. If your favourite stylist isn't available, fear not! ALL of the stylists are fantastic so never worry about someone else doing your hair. Brenda and her staff are second to none! And the warmth and ambiance of the salon immediately put you at ease.....a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend.

My best friend came in not to long ago for the first time and when she left she called me crying. The owner was rude not only to her but the staff. The owner kept trying to get her to do funky colors after she kept saying no and the lady reaked of vodka. Worst of all she had just gone in for a trim and left with a choppy 80s style. Do not recommend this salon.

I typically don’t write reviews of any sort but the bathroom mirror this morning reminded me once again of that disastrous experience. I know it’s not life and death, but if this review can save even one of you out there, it will be worth it.
I went to this place due to Covid, since my hairdresser is in Burlington and her place is always busy.
The owner is arrogant and a bully. The assistants are nice people but they work for a bully. I was asked the most bizarre questions: Have you used box color in the last 3 years? and further advised to Not lie because the answer was important. I am 41

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great haircut by the owner. I had it previously done elsewhere, an inverted bob which is a piece of art to make look sleek and Brenda corrected it and delivered! They also did some fun colouring and I got loads of compliments! Thanks team.

Mixed reviews, but, as my usual salon was closed due to Covid, I went there with a picture for a cut that would normally take 10 minutes to do by any competent stylist. "Master stylist" Brenda Russell ignored the pic and was still trying to "fix" it for almost two hours, all the while pressuring me for personal information and services that I neither required nor requested. Yes, I already know that "it'll grow out". She clearly didn't know what she was doing and has absolutely no respect for personal boundaries. I had won a gift certificate in an auction and had misplaced the certificate so I called and they said not to worry. When I found it - to call them which I did a year later and then unfortunately I had major back issues and had to rehabilitate for over 2 years and could not do the two flights of steps to their salon let alone sit for a cut and set so I called again and they said no worries - it doesn’t expire. So I went in a couple weeks ago and showed the certificate before I booked the appt, at which time the girl looked at the certificate and said it won’t be a problem. I got reminders for

Best salon I've ever been to. Brenda and her team are amazing, they are always learning new techniques. Every time I go into the salon I'm treated like a valued customer, I never feel like they are rushing me out the door, I don't get told off if I've used a box dye on my hair and fried it a few months back and I know I can literally walk in and tell the ladies to do what ever they think will look good and I will walk out with amazing hair! I paid $200 for root color - applied only on the top and full highlight with their most experienced professional- master. I requested a few levels lighter ash- so I can blend in with my future growth of gray. The back hair was stripped to a lighter level than the crown which turned orange blonde. She used no toner . I verbalized my discontent and was told that is the best they could do now and if I want I could come back next week . I had to go an purchase a toner and will need to have my hair treated and corrected somewhere else. Your establishment was given the opportunity to correct the mess

I love Hello Gorgeous. Everyone is always so kind. They offer you a beverage at every visit. Their customer service is amazing and I love my hairstyle every time I leave. I have had Amanda and Kelly and they both are amazing with colour and style. Always recommend Hello Gorgeous when people ask where I got my hair done.
