Vegans beware! The website advertises vegan bennies and other tasty looking vegan options. The vegan “food” was terrible! In fairness to them, they took the item off our bill, but when I gave the server feedback she couldn’t have cared less. If you want regular greasy spoon fare (with the service that goes with it), this is the place for you!

We were looking for vegan breakfast food in Kelowna and stumbled apon EK's Grill. Unfortunately, the vegan options (eggs benny) we had were entirely bland. It honestly seems difficult to make a meal that bland. It was very disappointing. Would not order again.

Not sure how you mess up a B.L.T.CB but they did. I ordered and paid for extra bacon and got two slices to me this is not extra bacon and paid for cheese looks like I go half a slice. This is what you get for $17.00 and to top is off tomatoes were soggy and so was the bread. I would never recommend this place.
Very disappointed.

Very friendly staff, food was good but didn't look the best on the plate. Had the ogopogo breakfast. Although tasty, wasn't quite as nice looking as I expected. Home made jams are wonderful. Price was quite reasonable, looks like a great and affordable place for seniors.
Atmosphere is a bit dark, music was a bit dated, fishtank was pretty sweet- haven't seen that in a while! Next time I'll sit on the patio, it looked bright and inviting. Took COVID-19 precautions seriously and was well organized to keep everyone safe. Will be back!

Hi. This is a great restaurant and would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is charming with huge (and I mean huge) fish tank to gaze at while waiting for some great food served by a very friendly and helpful staff. We went for our 31st wedding anniversary. When the server heard this she had kitchen prepare their signature "donut" deep fried fresh from home made batter and topped with icing sugar and lovely chocolate sauce, on the house!
My husband and I were very pleased with our experience there and would highly recommend this eatery.

$29 for a "mile high" road bump nachos with chicken; was like the same size as a large nacho from 7/11. Side of onion rings was 6 onion rings. Unacceptable for that price point.

Stopped in this morning Jan 28/21 for breakfast and was very good and great coffee I thought. They have a simple breakfast and a Senior breakfast both great value. Also omelettes, pancakes, whatever you like. Come out and support them. It's a comfortable place. I'll be back to try the burgers
They have a nice huge aquarium inside the dining area.

Great restaurant! Excellent service and delicious food. Extensive vegan selection and my meat-eating husband loves that side of the menu. Almost everything is made from scratch in-house. The Kicked-Up Donut is a must-have!

Breakfast here was really good. We got our food really quickly. Service was good too. Our waitress checked in with us many times to make sure we had everything and to make sure everything was good.

Hubby and I decided to try this place out for lunch after looking up places that served vegan dishes. While we are not committed vegans, my hubby wanted to eat more plant based foods. Being a former vegetarian myself, I was cool with that and decided to check it out. I think he wanted to go somewhere else up in the Glenmore area but I saw EK's first so why not?

First impressions was that it was a big place and prominent being on the corner! Lots of parking which is great and upon walking in, there was this amazing aquarium!
Decor was of a long time established type- nothing fancy but it

This restaurant takes pride in food preparation but it doesn't show consistently. They have an expansive menu but some items are bland. Ask lots of questions before ordering.

Ordered the fish and chips... haven't sent back a meal in thirty years... we did this time.

Our order was replaced with a burger... (tasteless).

We won't be back.

Stopped in here to get my racing bib for the EK's Grill 5km run race on Victoria Day May long... ended up having a very late lunch with my son.

We both had a salad. I had the Ironman and he had the Santa Fe. Both were surprisingly good given that the restaurant has more of a relaxed bar type (although there is no bar, it just feels that way) vibe. Good enough that I would 100% recommend for families as well as be back for more...

Service was quick and efficient as well.

Had the best breakfast here today. Everything was so fresh and good. I had the eggs Benny and the meat wasn't the usual rubbery piece of ham, it was shaved Black Forest ham and so so good! They also had the choice of smoked pastrami which the waitress said they smoke themselves as well as the bacon. The icing on the cake was their centre of the room aquarium with a guide to all the different tropical fish that were in it. My three year old was mesmerized and my breakfast was peaceful :) the menu was great - I can't wait to go back and try their Huevos Rancheros - they looked delish as

The wife and I went out for a nice dinner at EK's, we were greeted by a vary nice lady that took us to our seat. I had a stuffed burger and a beer from the tap which was really good, I would say the best in town.

The whole menu looks good in which my next item I want to try is the fried chicken.

We have recommended this place to friends and family that now come here.

I am not sure why people don't rate this five stars as I have never had any bad experience.

Stick to the hamburgers as they are good.

We went there on a whim. It was sunday brunch, the buffet was way too expensive (almost 15$ per person) so we ordered a breakfast (not alot of varity) and shared. The fish tank was cool our son loved it, and we didnt sit there kn our phones for once. We spoke with one of the owners who explained how he gets into the tanks on a specific night to clean it (during restaurant hours)
I do want to go back as i have seen there sign for the 649 burger (six meats, four cheeses for nine bucks).

I didn't have high expectations based on other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. If they had some issues when they opened, they seem to have worked them out. Service was reasonably attentive and quick, and the Smokehouse burger was excellent, a nice, juicy burger that was enhanced but not overwhelmed by the smoked meat. My companions enjoyed their meals (another burger, and fish and chips) as well. Presentation was good for all of them. Decor is fine, maybe a little minimalistic (aside from the giant fish tank) but open and comfortable.
