I've used them in past for tires and had great experience. Which was why I assumed this would be no different, I was very wrong ! Huge nightmare!
This year my wife called to see if they could do engine . Was told they couldn't for another week due to being busy . They called back said there was a opening to drop off vehicle with new engine that we bought ... We dropped it off with new engine in back . Was quoted initially at 900 , but that day changed to 1100. Fine what's 200 more to get vehicle done by shop you trust - right ?!?
Called week and half later to check on status - owner was upset

I really missed his man! Alistar is a champ and no one knows more about British Land Rovers than Hesp. His new digs are sweet, spotless shop (I'd eat pizza off the floor honestly). Lovely staff including little sis and the shop puppy. I really wanted to hang out all day and geek out like a proper gear head.
Plenty of knowledge for enthusiasts and always a chuckle from the big man himself. Fast?! How's my headlight done in less than 10 minutes lol

Joe and Alistair did a great job with my car when I broke down mid road trip. If I lived in the Vancouver area, then this would be my shop of choice. They were all honest, straightforward, and did not try to sell me any parts or services that weren't needed. The timeline and quality of the work that they did was accurate and excellent.

These people are professionals. I would definitely go back to service my vehicle here. My only constructive criticism, would be to suggest that they run any undiscussed repairs by the customer before performing it.
The service is otherwise excellent, and they have in-depth knowledge about their craft.

The best auto shop with the people love what they do for their customer!
Went there for broken rear light today, Same day appointment book and just 30 mins later, they got my light fixed with no charge! ( I got quotes from Auto West BMW for nearly $700 to fix the problem, not mention 6days waiting for their quotation!)
Today, I found my to go car repair/service place! Thank you the gentleman who answered my call and the young boy fixed my light! ( forgot ask you guys name but I will make sure next time when I come for service!)

I've gone to Alister and the team at Hesp since 2005. I have had nothing but honest dealings with this shop with both my 1992 RR Classic and my 1996 Discovery 1. They know these vehicles inside and out and will provide all the options when providing service. They are very transparent and will explain all that is recommended and can work on service plans for older Landies.
Alister is a top notch mechanic and I wouldn't take my LR to anyone else in the lower mainland.
