Always love my experience at Salon Niccio. They are a locally, family opened business. I would definitely recommend booking with Yvonne for cut and colour. My hair is extremely thick, wavy, hard to manage and I always leave feeling flawless. FINALLY someone who knows how to handle this hair. To make the experience even better they always greet me with a smile and treat me like family despite all the changes and stress that has come throughout the pandemic.

I’ve been going to this hair salon for a year.
The curly hair specialist is a very nice lady! But please be advised that she’s only good at a few hair cuts that she freestyles and not what you may find on Pinterest, especially if you have thick, curly ethnic hair as I do. Please do your research.

I booked an appointment to see Nelson. It was my first time in the salon and with him—both delightful experiences. I was hesitant at first because I loved my previous stylist's work, whom I used to see in Toronto. But as I live in Ottawa now, I had to find a master stylist here, and Nelson proved to be a great one! I love the cut. It is precisely what I had in mind. I highly recommend him. All the other staff were amiable, too. I will undoubtedly see him the next time I'm due for a trim!

Tried Salon Niccio for the first time today!!! I have fine, long curly hair to the middle of my back and wanted to go lighter but was afraid it would fry it. I was told to book with Yvonne (curls specialist) and she DID NOT disappoint. She was able to brighten my hair and it still feels super healthy. They gave me a message scalp massage with hair mask and the BEST part is when she styled it, she worked with my curls instead of insisting I blow dry and straighten it "to see the colour" like a lot of stylist do. HIGHLY recommend. Worth every penny. Thank-you!!!

Niccio Hair Salon has been my home for hair for as long as I can remember. When the grey hairs started to overwhelm me, they matched my red colour perfectly! They kept me looking natural, just as I like to be. I get the same colour and cut every time. But this time when Chad asked, So?! What are we doing today? I shocked him with curtain bangs! I got my hair cut here by Chad and let me say it was AMAZING! I initially had a hair consultation before my appointment and was adamant I wanted more off than I ended up doing. Once we got started Chad took some off my hair (I should have mentioned I have and still have long hair) and I realized I could still have length while getting a great cut! I left with such an amazing cut and an even better experience. I highly recommended this salon and I for sure found my new place in Ottawa. Thanks Chad!

I was really excited to get a makeover done, being 36 weeks pregnant and wanting to do a nice thing for myself before my baby arrives I thought I would give this place a try. I read some great reviews of this… place. Sadly the stylist (Chantel) was incompotent and the quote I recieved was disgustingly over priced. I asked for a reverse Balayge from brown to icy purple. I had bleach blonde hair and seemed like it shouldn't have been a big job, but after sitting In a chair for 4+ hours by the end was completely frustrated. Once my hair was blowdryed my whole hair was JET BLACK with patches

I just got a fab new haircut at Niccio Salon and wanted to share my experience. I've been in Ottawa for a year now and was getting seriously discouraged with the stylists I'd been seeing until my sister in law recommended Tania at Niccio's. She sorted out my colour and listened to exactly what I was looking for in a cut, executing it to perfection. What more can I say but "go and see her" because she is awesome!
