By nature, I am a compassionate and caring person. I have a Health Sciences: Master of Social Work Degree in Physical and Mental Health, from Dalhousie University and a post graduate certificate in Clinical Traumatology. I work in a variety of counselling and therapeutic mental health areas. I am also a registered counsellor with The Crime Victim Assistance Program.
The program is for people who have physical or psychological injuries as a result of being a victim or a witness to a crime. I also provide counselling for women who experience domestic abuse. If you are experiencing physical, emotional or mental turmoil due to an incident, counselling costs may be available for you through the program with the Ministry of Justice of British Columbia.
