Curry Corner
Most delicious Indian food in Edmonton. The crunchy naan is outstanding! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All the curry's are amazing but my favourite is the chicken vindaloo. You can taste the care and love that goes into making this. Friendly Staff and perfect service. I've tried Indian food in London and it doesn't even compare to this little gem of greatness.

Must try if you love Indian food. Great cozy spot to eat in or take out. Neat and tidy, never a spec in sight. The creamy butter chicken is delicous, the naan is crunchier than other places but still as fabulous, and the prices are competitive with other Indian restaurants. Would definitely come again to enjoy this wonderful place.
Services
Curry Corner is an authentic Indian restaurant in Edmonton serving food like you've never tasted before. The flavors are unique, harmonious on the palate, a lot less of the overwhelming heat that's associated with East Indian cuisine and something all together far more sophisticated. The recipes are rarely finds where they're special treats sought out from our master chefs.
Cottage cheese marinated with homemade yogurt, saffron and spices, cooked in our clay oven. Boneless chicken pieces marinated with homemade yogurt and spices, grilled in our clay oven. Bonless chicken pieces marinated with cream cardamom and spices, grilled in our clay oven. Delicasy from India filled with rich protein and fibre made with urad lentil & kidney beans with cream & butter.

In terms of flavor, Curry Corner is a 5/5. I really want to give it that overall. The problem is that the portions are on the smaller side compared to our other go-to Indian restaurants and the price does not reflect it. I know times are tough, but it was like this pre Covid as well. It is definitely some of the most authentic tasting Indian I have ever had though.

The quality of food here is just fantastic. Tried take away couple of times during my stay over 4 months and all the dishes that at least were just very good. Portions also decent but definitely pricey. However worth the money for the quality of food.

Extremely tiny portions from Skip the Dishes. $60 for two curries, box of rice and 2 samosas. 9 small pieces of meat in the $18.50 goat curry, not worth it at all which doesn't come with naan or rice. Save your money to order from Zaika or even Tiffin which will come with rice/naan for the price of the basic curry dish.
EDIT - after having it, 4 of the 9 pieces of meat were mostly bone.

This restaurant offers great Indian cuisine with great service. The picture speaks for itself. We have been there many many times. The butter chicken, the biriyani, even the tea is our absolute favourite!! My all time favourite is the yogurt drink, I recommend everyone to give it a try specially during summer months!! It's soo refreshing!! I find the inside setup of the restaurant very welcoming and comfortable. Overall, a great place for dining-in!

I want to love this place, but when butter chicken tastes like the pre-cooked strips of chicken breast from Costco, thrown into a mild sauce almost like basic tomato soup, I find it difficult. I was hoping this place would be more authentic but it’s very difficult to be labeled as so.

Have come here on a number of occasions. Atmosphere is nice, a small place that serves tasty food at a reasonable price. They have a wide variety of veg and meat curries as well as appetizers such as samosas. I have never had a bad dish here and always enjoy my meal. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you want a good indian meal.

This place is awesome. The staff are great, and the food is amazing. Lots of variety and flavor, and at a good price. It is a bit slow, possibly since not many customers.

The wonderful aroma of Indian cuisine will tempt you in and your won't be disappointed. I very much enjoyed the little crispy appetizer followed by my main dish, the rich and delicious Palak Paneer with fluffy garlic naan. Thank you!

City's best butter chicken?
I don't know, but I have no reason to venture outside of curry corner. Never fails to impress. This is my favourite dish.... ALL TIME!

It's good but for the portions it's not really worth it in my opionion, I've see other restaurants with double it's portion for the same price.

My husband and I were craving Indian food and decided to try this place out. We were very disappointed with the extremely small portions (hardly any meat at all in 3 dishes) and the HUGE prices considering what little was brought to the table. The flavor was very good, but we would not go back again at these prices. It was very disappointing considering the great expectations we had as a result of the good reviews. NO ... we work too hard for our money.

We have eaten a lot of Indian food all over the United States. It's the first trip to Canada with the family and we all thoroughly enjoyed Curry Corner. Samosas, chicken tikka masala, naan bread, butter chicken, aloo gobi were all excellent. The service was great, and portion sizes were larger than your typical Indian restaurant. Amazing!

We ordered pickup through Skip the Dishes, it was quick and painless. Our food was ready in 35 minutes on a busy Friday evening, not bad at all. We decided to play it safe and got two orders of Butter Chicken, a rice, garlic naan, and roti. I found the prices reasonable, but wouldn't say they were cheap.
The rice was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The garlic naan and roti were both good, we should have ordered more. The butter chicken sauce was fantastic, full of flavor with just enough spice and I had enough for two meals. Unfortunately, I found the chicken pieces themselves not very

So here I am. Not really liking "North American Indian food" because I've had the privilege of having worked in central India several years ago, more than once. Was almost a month of some of the most incredible food I've ever had. From eating off a banana leaf (with only your hands), to tandoori prawns to sweet tea. Even "Pizza Hut" had a tandoori chicken option (no pepperoni ). This is the first time I can say I was impressed with my meal. I had the Vandaloo chicken with coconut rice and naan garlic bread. All I can say is "WoW!" that was friken awesome

Cannot wait to return here time and again to try everything on the menu. Service was prompt on an early Saturday afternoon when we went in for a light snack while in the neighbourhood after a massage. It was hard deciding what to order from the varied choices. A complimentary Papadum with a yummy tamarind sauce was served. We started with the Garlic Naan and Roti breads plus the Lentil soup. The Chicken Bhuna (which we shared) was spectacular. The Marsala Chai tea was excellent also. Highly recommended!

Decided to do take out from this quaint place in Riverbend. Ordering up was simple enough. The menu online has the prices. Which is a gripe I have of a number of places that put menus online but then drop the prices.
Called up was told that the order would take 20-25 mins.
Arrived (more or less on time) and had to wait less than 2 mins.

Got home and even though it was a 15 min drive home, all the food was still very hot !
Ordered the Shrimp Butter Masala, Chicken Curry, Garlic Naan, Daal Tadka, and some Saffron Rice.

All of it was delish ! Although there was a mix up with our order

I have gone here a variety of times to eat in and to take out. I have never gotten the lunch specials which they are known for. I have always ordered a variety of dishes and in most cases will try one new dish to see what it's like.

I have enjoyed all the dishes I have tried thus far and it's nice to go to an Indian restaurant where all the sauces don't taste the same as you get with New Asian Village for example.
My favorite dishes
Tikka Masala
Paneer Samosa
Chefs Special
are just to name a few I need their menu to say all the ones I love.

As for their Nan, its lovely

So happy I tried this place. Unfortunately, they do not deliver but it was worth the pick up. First off, the decor was unexpectedly pleasant, clean and modern. Service was 20mins for pick up and upon arrival, the waiter was pleasant.
I ordered: garlic naan, veg. samosa, saffron rice, butter chicken and rice pudding. The butter chicken was the most flavorful I've ever tasted. Total was fairly priced at $34 and could feed 2 people.
Will be coming back for more !

Being of East Indian origin, my experiences with Indian food in the city has been either hit or miss (largely miss). I notice when chains start to expand (ex New Asian Village), the quality starts to go down. My parents took my wife and I to Curry Corner in Riverbend Square. The former management of 'Curry Fix' vacated and Curry Corner took over under new management. The first thing I noticed that the ambiance of this place had a feel of a quaint and cozy charm of a home cooked Indian family dinner.

This restaurant embodies the idea that appreciating the small (often overlooked) things

I haven't been eating much Indian lately but a buddy of mine, who I haven't seen in ages, wanted to go for a late lunch. Where to go? Well, I've known about Curry Corner for awhile but after being reminded about their cheap lunch special, we decided to check it out. Located in Riverbend Square, it's by Safeway and nearby to Oliveto Trattoria. You guessed it, this one is hidden in the corner.

The daily lunch special (only one option) runs from 11am to 3pm for $10.99! Hello sweet deal. We came at 2pm on a holiday Monday and it was pretty empty. Only one waiter was running the

This place was great. Today I decided to try this place for the first time. The service was great. We got sat right away. The menu had a lot of options. Great for vegetarians. For drinks we got some chai then we ordered samosas for appetizers, then bhindi masala, coconut rice, chicken bhuna and Naan for dinner. Lastly, we ordered gulab jamun for dessert. It was all soo good. The pricing was fair as we paid under 50 bucks for 2 people. I enjoyed everything I ordered. I will be back. The place was clean, the service was on point and the food was great! We will be back.

My fiancée and I absolutely love Curry Corner!! We original tried it after finding a great review here on Yelp. We have taken many people there and have had an array of dishes. Everything we have tried has been delicious and the service is always fantastic!
A couple of our Favorites are the butter chicken, coconut rice, coconut Naan, and garlic naan. The tikka chicken as a starter is a winner.

This is my third time coming to curry corner. Being close to the house, we happened to find it going to the registry nearby.

I must say their garlic Naan is so delicious and fresh. The butter chicken make my boyfriend's mouth water. And he's Indian.

I'd say the butter chicken and bhindi Masala (okra) are the best we've ever had.

The bhindi Masala is slightly spicy and cooked with so much flavor I can't even breathe right now I'm so full.

The curry was so good! We ordered chili shrimp, lamb curry, lunch combo and other 2 dishes I forgot the name, and the masala tea was good too. We also ordered extra 2 pieces of naan bread and a bowl of coconut rice, and that was too much for us 3 people. We packed all because it's so delicious~

I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. I went on a Thursday afternoon with two friends, and everything we ordered arrived quickly and tasted delicious! We started with Vegetable Pakora, which was crispy and well seasoned, and my two meat-eating friends each had a huge Beef Samosa which they enjoyed.

We shared the most amazing naan bread and coconut rice with our main dishes. I had the Palak Paneer, which despite looking completely unappetizing turned out to be amazing! Great flavor and plenty of cheese. My friend ordered the Butter Chicken which had a lovely color and enticing smell.
