Dr. Kim has been providing dentistry under general anaesthesia in partnership with the Anaesthesia for Dentistry Clinic, for the last 12 years.

BPS stands for Bio-functional Prosthetic System, which is designed to produce dentures that provide optimal function while eating, speaking or laughing.

My daughter who attends UVM had an emergency and this was the only dentist she could find on short notice who took our insurance. She had a filling come out that was just done about two weeks prior to going back to school. She said it was the worst dental experience she ever had. She was not provided with adequate Novocain and was in pain for most of the procedure. The dentist told her she was being overly sensitive and that he couldn’t give her anything else. Champlain Dental has been very accommodating to me since I started coming here in the early 90’s. I’ve been a patient for over 30 years. The staff is wonderful everyone is extremely helpful and very nice , and I can’t say enough good about Dr. Boyd he is by far the best dentist I know kind caring compassionate to all situations, he has made my dental experience a very good one. I would recommend anyone to him. Oh and did I mention he’s got a great sense of humor and he loves to sing. Best Dentist EVER!!

This office charged much more than the insurance company claimed I was supposed to pay. After calling them repeatedly to request a refund of the excess charges, they have come up with every excuse possible as to why they will not return the excess charges. I have had to file a report with the insurance company and am awaiting results. I don’t expect much.
If you need more than a free service, avoid this place at all costs. Almost all employees have left this place. The only hygienists they have now are right out if college. That says a lot about the place. They have definitely lost my business

I've been a patient for 27yrs now and I will not go anywhere else for dental work. This is one of the most caring and gentle dental practices around. Im never disappointed with the staff im greeted and I feel comfortable with the whole dental experience. They explain in detail all the procedures that will be performed on that visit so they make you comfortable and are able to keep me calm .I really do appreciate all the yrs I have gone there and look forward to many more ,thank you Kevin

Dr Boyd is an incredibly knowledgeable person and a very detailed dentist. He has the ability to be the nicest person you’re going to meet too. I’ve been a patient here for almost 30 years. I’ve trusted Dr. Nawotka and his office staff with mine and my family’s dental care and have never been disappointed. To the point and doesn’t waste my time and money with unnecessary additional services like other dental offices may try to incorporate for extra revenue. The administration staff has always been helpful as well with scheduling and billing.

5 Stars for Dr. Tara Kim and her crew. My daughter has enhanced anxiety regarding needles to the point of shaking and crying and Dr. Kim and her assistant made every effort to make her feel comfortable. By the end of the appointment she was smiling and relaxed. All of the employees seem considerate and happy to be there.

Been using this dentist for almost 30yrs! They have always done an exceptional job even with my insurance being Medicaid. They've written off the costs of numerous procedures and even allowed me to pay what state insurance would out of pocket when I had no insurance. They've remained positive and been very nice and friendly every single time I've called or gone in for almost 30yrs. I love my dentist and would recommend him highly to anybody. Both of the dentists here have worked on my mouth so happy I found them!

I was young and naive. Dr. Boyd told me I needed $800 worth of "sealants," even though I had NEVER had a single cavity in my life. I agreed to the procedure. I noticed immediately afterward, my bite was very affected by the extra "height" on my teeth. I brought this up with the hygenist, who said it would be fine. I could no longer close my mouth entirely, so I began to let my jaw hang open slightly 24/7. This led to an extremely painful TMJ condition, which has ruined my life.

I have always been fearful of the dentist, and ever since I found Champlain Dental through a Groupon deal I find myself almost looking forward to appointments. Everyone is extremely friendly and efficient, and they put you completely at ease. I just had my wisdom teeth taken out, years after I should have due to previous fears. I am also 5 months pregnant. They made the whole experience really great and went out of their way to make sure I felt safe and informed about the procedure. I would recommend them to anyone. It is hard to find a dentist office like this.

This Dental office was fantastic, everyone was very friendly, from the receptionist to all the dental hygienists. The experience was quick and easy with minimal pain. I would gladly come again and recommend this place to anyone. My dental hygienists name was Nar and she was amazing, I would recommend her. :)
