Not great, we were very disappointed. Certainly not the caliber of food they are charging for. Cutlery and plates were dirty. Two stars are for the atmosphere which was nice and our first server made a great cocktail

Although the food and atmosphere was phenomenal. Our server was less than accommodating. She was busy socializing with other servers and the table taking shots that was across from us.
I waited 30 minutes for a slice of cheesecake because she was gossiping. (As we sat close I could hear the whole conversation with the other table)

The rest of the servers were immaculate.

We ordered calamari fritti which was very expensive ($20) and it tasted beyond bland - breading was moist and sauce wasn’t good. The pizzas were ok but the mojito drink my girlfriend ordered also wasn’t good at all. Quite disappointed given the high prices and the fact that we’ve been there many times before and it was much more enjoyable. Hope it was just a one-off experience.

We were a large party on Saturday night The entire experience was perfect from arriving for our reservation to our excellent server,terrific food and wine. Everyone was very attentive, our food arrived to the table all at once and piping hot Everything was delish Will be back next visit to Ottawa

We had the most incredible evening. The manager/maître d at the door was phenomenal. Our server deserves an award, service was immaculate. Food was delicious and hot. We were celebrating 5 birthday at once due to us all living apart and covid and the restaurant was so accommodating. 11/10 would recommend.

First time visiting Tosca with my daughter who is attending Carleton University...it was outstanding. Can't believe how reasonable the prices were and the food was excellent. Coming from Toronto I had to ask our server if the prices were correct...we visited on Sunday for dinner so it was more quiet but we are going back next weekend which is the long weekend and if anything changes I will let you know. My only disappointment was that there was no way we could enjoy dessert after the wonderful appetizers and entrees...simply no room. Since we will be in Ottawa more often I know Tosca will be on

Great food and good service. Our server was a tad grumpy but I think he's just fed up with covid. Rolled his eyes when we asked for dessert haha. Ah well I tipped him anyways.

This was quite the disappointing experience. The interior of the restaurant looks really nice, however, the food and the service were disappointing.

The complimentary bread was just disappointing. First of all they didn't give us enough for the table. The bread was cold and hard. It tasted pretty stale. The butter (that was supposed to be whipped, was also hard.

My husband and I ordered two different pizzas. My husband got the calabrese pizza. It was bland, sloppy, and thoroughly disappointing. When you take a bite of the pizza, everything slides off the crust. The sausage tasted like frozen

My co-worker and I ate here. We were dressed business casual.
The server taking our order was professional; however, there was another male waiter that kept looking at us with absolute hate. He kept passing by staring at us with absolute hate on his face. Then he stood by the counter and kept staring at us like he wanted to kill us if he could. Uncomfortable and not enjoyable experience.

We did not complain at the time but noted that we would never go back to a resturant where the food was mediocre and the waiters psychotic.

Let's start with the good. My very fussy daughter had the spaghetti bolonaise, with sauce on the side of coarse. She genuinely loved it to our surprise.

My wife had the manicotti, which she regularly gets from other restaurants, this was a whole new level of terrible. I can't describe the flavour, it was bad.

I had the spaghetti carbonara, the sauce was well cooked, smooth and creamy, not the scrambled eggs in cream I've had from other restaurants. I prefer the kinds with smoked bacon, this tasted like the old stuff we forget about in our fridge.

A group of four on a business trip and came hungry.

First of all, the food was nothing but superb. We did find the service a little forced. Not unpleasant, just a little disinterested.

Ordered mussels as a starter. Very yummy with an amazing sauce that was just perfect.

Next I had a rack of lamb. It came with some penne pasta is a garlic sauce. It was perfect and I really enjoyed it.

So, come for the food ... not the service. Maybe it was just an off night.

This Italian restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We were quite surprised at how empty the restaurant was midday on a weekday, but the dishes we ordered were great. Our dishes were very tasty and came out quickly. The ambiance within the rest was quite modern and comfortable, with a clean dining room and restrooms. Our waiter was quite friendly as well. My only disappointment was that the pasta used for their dishes is predominantly dried pasta and not fresh, in house made pasta.

This is an exceptional restaurant. Food was amazing. The made items to order. Their Caesar salad and the creamy pesto is amazing. End the evening with the lemon sorbet. Even my girls loves it.

One night visit to Ottawa. Basic Italian menu; small selection of Italian,Australian, and Argentine wines. Service was good; the food is serviceable.
