Aldergrove Animal Clinic

They have given spectacular treatment both to my pet and with me. I have a dog with a complicated demeanour and they have been respectful of her and provided me the tools to allow her to be safely cared for while in the clinic.
She has barely reacted poorly with anyone she has gone with, which is unusual when we have to take her in for checkups or care, so they just be doing something right!

An extremely empathetic, genuine, and supportive staff. My cat had cancer, & the staff frequently called or sent emails to check in. My extreme gratitude to you ❤

We have used Aldergrove for over 18 years. They are a wonderful vet and helped with all our needs when it comes to care for our fur babies. There have been a few times over the years, were we have had to have our animals leave us due to illness and they have been nothing but compassionate and sympathitic and given us as much time as we want to say our goodbyes. Way to go Aldergrove.

I have always taken my pets to Aldergrove, and I will never take them anywhere else. They always go above and beyond! The staff are friendly, helpful, professional, and compassionate.

Filled out new client registration online. As I understand the pandemic has made veterinary care very busy I awaited a response. After 7 days I called and was advised they are no longer taking clients. I believe the new client registration form should be closed on the website and a notice should be available so peoples time is not wasted like mine was. The administrator also could not provide a recommendation for other vets in the area. Dr. Martin cared for our Labrador Retriever a number of years ago and he was excellent. Thoroughly disappointed in the lack of communication.

On August 3rd, We had to put down our beloved 7 year old lab. We had been told 3 days prior that she had lymphoma and she went downhill extremely quickly. When we arrived at Aldergrove, Dr. Lauren did a full assessment and with sincere kindness, sympathy and professionalism, told us that the best thing we could do for her would be to end her suffering. Dr. Lauren, was willing to put our girl down wherever we were most comfortable and at ease. Such a difficult time was made slightly less traumatic by Dr. Lauren's compassion and professionalism for us and our girl. We can not express enough thanks

Aldergrove calls their 3-year rabies vaccinations good for 2 years with the excuse that people are late booking their pets’ rabies vaccinations. More likely drumming up business - any pet who needs grooming will need a certificate, so… shame on them! Although some of their vets are lovely, they are not experienced enough for emergency care. Do not take your pets there for more than regular care (and even then, ask some questions as clearly they aren’t being honest about regular care!).

Very strict covid protocol, which made me feel very safe. Such a great service! Always smiling, excited to have you there. They came and met us outside, took our pup inside for examination and shots. Then, while still in there, the Dr. called me and was very attentive to my questions and concerns. I was very pleased with the experience!

I always look at our vet trips in a much more positive way thanks to Aldergrove.
All of the staff there are impeccable, super friendly, hard working, and loving to our fur babies.
Even during renovations of the clinic they still manage to operate and stay at their 100%.

Dr. Tait, and the staff here are such beautiful people. They love our animals, and want nothing but the best for them. Although our relationship was new, they gave us the most precious gift. Extra time. We said… goodbye to our girl, just this afternoon. Through the hardest choice we had to make regarding our fur baby, we received nothing but kindness, patience, and compassion. I cannot express how much I appreciate this clinic. Every interaction I have had with them has been nothing but great! They genuinely care about the animal that comes through the doors, and are very flexible with the pet parent. I would highly recommend to any person considering using this clinic to do so.

This is by far the best animal clinic I've ever dealt with Bijou or a 13 year old lab cross put down on November 26th 20/20 she was on loan to us due to a family member that passed away so we fostered Bijou and loved him as our own we found it three months ago back in September but Bijou was diagnosed with cancer on different parts of his body I… asked my husband what he would want to do and he said he can die naturally so I took it upon myself to call in Aldergrove last minute to save that our dog had to be put down because we knew the repercussions and we knew that I was all be good for

This team is like family. I never feel rushed and they always make time for my many questions. I am always amazed when they remember each pet and show genuine care. Do I recommend them? Absolutely! without hesitation.

From the amazing staff on the desk ,through all the wonderful techs and the knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians you know your precious fur kids are in great hands. We followed Dr. Martin to Aldergrove and we’re thrilled we did. I would and have highly recommended Aldergrove… to friends and family. If you want your pet cared for in a gentle environment this is the place to go. The staff are professional but have that neighbour like quality. Cody and the cats 🐈 🐱 are very impressed.
