TLDR: bedding saturated with cigarette smoke, couldn't sleep. Asked for extra night compensation but only offered half refund. 2 night ski trip ruined since skied for only 1 hour due to exhaustion. Sorry for the lengthy review but wanted to detail everything so the management can't reply by blaming us for this and that.
Unit 105 cigarette smoke saturated furniture in bedroom. Pillows, mattress, comforters you name it. The room itself smelled slightly of cigarette smoke but was heavily masked by air freshener.

We stayed In the 2 bedroom suite. For a place they called a Hotel you are defiantly on your own here. We stayed for 5 days 4 night and the room was not cleaned 1 time. Front desk staff was not helpful and there is literally no staff in the evolution. If you have children you need to be EXTREMELY careful! the radiant baseboard heaters will burn your children if them touch them. I will mostly likely be selecting a hotel with more customer service for future stays.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom condos with the family and it was amazing. Fireplace, lovely kitchen heated floors and clean bathrooms. Walkout balconies for all bedrooms.
The only complaint is the fire place thermostat was not working and called twice but no one showed up then walked in the rain over to the check in building to complaint, someone finally came over and replace the batteries.
I will definitely go back and stay at evolution lodge.

Unable to help with maintenance issues Great accommodations and beautiful rooms but our fireplace control was not working and called the front desk and there was not they could do for us until the morning. We had a very very poor sleep because of the heat windows and doors open but it was Double sided fireplace I our room.

The suite was perfect, it had 2 huge bedrooms with separate attached bathrooms with each room. There was an awesome living room and a full size kitchen with full cutlery and equipment. It was like being at home completely. The hot pool, steam and sauna were also so luxurious and fun. The location is perfect and very close to the Whistler Village centre.

I booked thru booking.com was looking forward to stay at the Evolution Whistler, however we needed to cancel booking due to emergency. Evolution DID charge us the full amount, the charge went through our credit card, so we called Booking.com to arrange refund under the guaranty refundable cancellation policy. All pertinent details and communications had been confirmed with Booking.com, and Booking.com emailed to Evolution Whistler, requesting the refund to be credited back to my credit card within 24 hours (email dated June 25). We have not received any refund up to today, nor any emails from Evolution

Evolution hotel is a beautiful place to stay during your time in Whistler. It’s close to gondolas on magnificent Whistler Mountain, and comes with many luxurious services. Some include a media room, games room, pool, hot tub, and ski storage. Suites are also clean and nicely decorated, and the bathrooms have a lavish, modern design. The soap provided is also very nice. I recommend this place 100%!
