I have been a customer at Olde & Gold for many years having bought many beautiful pieces from them. They have gorgeous jewelry, some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Their prices are reasonable. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I always love going into the store. Yesterday I popped in because I had a sterling silver bracelet I wanted checked out. They gave me the information I needed and went over and above by polishing it so it looked absolutely stunning, like brand new. By far, in my humble opinion, the best jewelry store in Victoria. 🌹

I have to say that this business was the most difficult business I have ever dealt with. Paul is ridiculous. He refused to sell me a ring that was advertised on the internet because he was aware that it eventually would end up in the States - as if that is any of his business. Paul was more concerned about ripping me off on FedEx prices, tax & duty than he was in helping a potential customer. I really hope he doesn't treat all of his customers this way. Maybe it is because I am American? I can't quite figure it out . Paul is EXTREMELY OBSTINATE and trying to do business with

I had some gold and silver pieces that I have been looking to sell recently.
Taking the advice of a few of my colleagues, I attended to Old N Gold Jewellery in Victoria. I've heard plenty about places that rip you off and although I have never had the experience to sell my wares, I anticipated all sorts of issues. Upon entering the store, I was nicely greeted by the staff and directed to the back of the store where they gave my items a very careful lookover, inserted them into machines, weighed them in front of me, compared the weights and measures to a visible screen with the values clearly posted

The store itself is spacious and inviting, a surprise based on the rather lackluster exterior appearance. rather like stepping back in time to an earlier era when most jewelry stores were large and elegant.
We went in to sell some gold and silver items that had surfaced after a recent move, a lot of things belonging to my mom that I no longer need. Most were unsaleable silver as plated rather than sterling, in spite of their age.We were able to sell a few jewelry items though. Hard to know if prices were fair, I guess that comes down to the overall impression of any company you interact with.

This is a lovely store that hides many a treasure. I've bought a good half-dozen rings for my wife here, and I've had nothing but the best service, very quick sizing and cleaning, and an overall professional attitude, every time. Every time I'm in Victoria and I visit the store, I (let alone my wife—who happens to be a jeweller) am enthralled by the selection and variety of the items in the display cases.

The service could not have been better. Went in to see what some old jewellery was worth, having never done anything like that before, and we ended up being helped out by the owner, Craig. If there is a nicer, friendlier person in Victoria, then we are yet to meet them. Craig was very thorough, trustworthy and transparent in his valuation and even went above and beyond by cleaning the jewellery that he couldn't take. Would highly recommend Olde N Gold.

We were just in the store to get rid of some older gold jewelry & dealt with Paul. He was very informative about gold and the pros and cons of some of the pieces. I did end up taking a few items home, which I was already on the fence about. We got a very good price for our gold and would highly recommend a visit to this shop.

BEWARE I recently moved to Victoria and I have been looking for a good jeweller. I took my rings into Old N' Gold. One needed to be sized and one had a broken shank. At the same time they checked and cleaned my other rings. When I returned they told me that one of my rings needed 20 claws replaced and that would cost $600. I was very surprised as I have had that ring checked many times by my former jeweller and was always told it was fine. Within 2 weeks both of my repaired rings broke. I took them all to another jeweller who I trust in Tsawwassen and was told that my third ring did

I'd have to say that most of the prices here were not much different than any high end jewelry store. Also the majority of stock was bought and brought over from the former "Barclays Pawnshop" purchased for a fraction of their true value...The clerk Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable. However it's tough not truly knowing if your purchase is legit or bought from the streets as I witnessed some questionable sellers their. take your chances I guess.
