Della Optique hands down provides the best optometry in Vancouver! I would recommend both Dr. Chow and Dr. Kim to all my friends and family. The doctors are professional, friendly and their expertise helped me understand all my vision problems. Their staff are all very nice and makes getting glasses/other eye products a fun activity. The clinic is clean and chic and they have the best selection of frames too! 10/10

I wouldn't go anywhere else for an eye exam! I've seen both Dr. Della Chow & Dr. Bosung Kim. Incredibly kind, knowledgable, and thorough doctors.They did my eye exams before I got laser eye surgery last year, and made sure I was set up for a really successful recovery. I had my 1-year post-op check up with Dr. Chow today and again, I am extremely pleased with the service.

I have been going to Della Optique for over fifteen years, as has my husband, my son and several of my friends. Della has taken care of all my optometry needs. She is so professional and friendly and has such wonderful staff it makes going to the optometrist a pleasure. The selection of glass frames is great and includes the latest styles. I have been stopped on the street by strangers asking me where I got my glasses.

It was my first-time ever eye exam in Canada, and I must say it was super Awsome! I really appreciate the appointment booking system that they have, it's quick the convenient. And that's for sure not given! Dr. Kim, Dr. Chow, and the staff were super nice and showed their care and professionalism (believe me for I have been wearing the thickest glasses all my life). It's nothing but a perfect experience!

Efficient, Thorough & Friendly. Excellent Taste. Dr. Chong was very thorough in explaining eye health and making recommendations for dryness issues and future eye care. Kim asks all the right questions to determine the best glasses for my lifestyle. She knows her inventory and she makes great choices from all the frames to fit my face - nose, cheeks and ears. I've been going to Dr. Della for the past 15 years. She is thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and very personable. She even recommended I go for Lasik vision correction, even though she sells glasses and contacts for a living! Her staff has excellent taste in helping me pick glasses and sunglasses. I recommend Dr. Della to all my friends and family!

I went to Della Optique for a prescription and I was also seeing flashing lights on my right eye. I mentioned that to the optometrist (Della Chow), she told me that it's probably because I keep using my monthly contact lenses longer that their intended use (probably she just wanted sell me more contact lenses) and also recommended a much more expensive contact lens insisting that I buy from her store. I visited the Clearlycontacts downtown optometrist couple of weeks later and so glad that I did. It turned out that I had retinal detachment and went for an emergency surgery right away!!!!!

I have been near sighted since I was in my teens and for years preferred contacts because I hated the look of glasses. I eventually gave in and started wearing glasses and chose the cheapest frames I could find that looked tolerable. Glasses were something that I had to endure and I shopped at the cheap discount places. I was lucky if the frames lasted a year before going wonky.

I am very very impressed with the service at Della Optique, as well as the excellent eye health advice. Dr. Della herself gave a thorough examination, accurate prescription and reference to an opthamalogist for a baseline. I totally trust her professional knowledge and experience.

Best place in Vancouver to buy your glasses!! I haven't gone to see an optometrist that is so thorough with eye exams as Della is. She is very knowledgable and her staff (Phil & Kim) are extremely knowledgable as well. The selection of glasses they have in the store is unlike the rest of the optical stores out there (they have really fun and fashionable glasses!) The most important thing for me is service and everyone from the front desk to the optometrist give impeccable service!

I am late with this review.. My apologies to the staff! I received the best care and attention from Kim who patiently helped me try on almost every pair of glasses in every case, offering her friendly opinions all along the way (which helped greatly, since I was alone that day). Then, another doctor (besides Della) filled my prescription and fitted me with my new frames. I wish I knew his name because he was probably the nicest person I've ever spoken to and very helpful. Wish I could take this place back home with me to Los Angeles. They are awesome!

I had no problems with Della until today. After a very frustrating series of phone calls back and forth regarding an issue I had with my contacts, she finally called me back, yelled at me about being a nuisance, and proceeded to cancel my appointment and contacts orders as she "didn't want to deal" with me anymore. After she heard that she had made me cry on the phone, she quickly hung up and transferred me to her receptionist who asked for my Visa so I could get a refund for my orders.
I believe she carefully picks her clientele. If you choose to see her, I hope, for your sake

I have been to Della Optique twice previously and booked an appointment for an eye exam recently.
I was told on the phone that that would cost me $238 but I will get $100 off if I purchase something from the store. i.e frame, contact lens etc. At first I said OK and made the appointment. The more i thought about it, however, the more I disagree with that type of business practice. First of all an eye exam does not cost $238 - price range for eye exams are $105-150 max, I believe. Della Optique should just be charging $138 for my eye exam and the decision whether or not to get my lens or frame

Definitely would recommend her, in terms of service, does a more thorough job of checking your eyes than most, from what ive been told. Not cheap though, last time i got my eyes checked here, it was prob. $20 more than anywhere else.
Nice boutique store, & prices are pretty well what you expect in this posh area; good service too.
She's trained with the best & can offer advice on who to go to for laser surgery.

Just opened my purse to discover my Ted Baker hardshell eyeglass case has a dent on the outside. Who knows what almost crushed it, but the fact Della provides complimentary hard cases is one more reason why I support Della Optique. Glasses are fine, fortunately and Vancouver is fortunate to have Della Optique!

I went in to Della Optique today for my first eye exam in awhile. Dr. Pratt was amazing. She was very informative, and was very personable. Customer service is obviously a strong point here. She didn't try to push any products on me, or get me to buy glasses from her store. She did give me some contact lenses to try out, as my current lenses haven't been working out the best.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. They're awesome!
