This is my second time to dine at this restaurant. The first experience was fine, the waitress was nice, food was ok. However, this time, there is an old man who appears to be the owner or manager of this restaurant walked around without wearing a mask! And not only that, he also greeted and helped customers!

Very disappointed with our take out last night. We live in Steveston and have never tried this place before. We ordered 4 dishes. The servings were small and overpriced. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo were $28 each. The fettuccine in clam sauce had barely any sauce or clams and the lasagna only filled up half the size of the take out container which is quite small in itself. This is certainly no Italian Tomato or Anton's. We certainly won't be going back even though we enjoy pasta and this restaurant is in our neighbourhood.

Randomly visit this restaurant this night and found that it is totally out of my expectations!
Once we opened the door, I got surprised, their interior design with the Christmas decorations made us feel super cozy. Cozy like I had traveled to some European house.
Food are AMAZING, we tried the "Lobster & Crab ravioli with Rose Shirmp Sauce" and "Fettuccine Della Casa". They both are delicious, the pasta are chewy and mixed with those sauces are just perfect! Portion are fit maybe I was starving!
Will visit again for sure!

It was our first time here and definitely not our last.
We tried 3 dishes in total
The lasagne tastes great and wasn't overly oily or salty which is the case for many rich dishes.
The lobster and shrimp ravioli has an amazing shrimp sauce but came out under cooked and quite hard. Almost tasting as it may have been from frozen.
My personal favorite of the 3 was the fettuccine D'Angelo.
I love the blend of flavors and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The house made sausage in the pasta is the best.
All in all it was a win.
(We took the ravioli home and prepared to a texture we liked!)

During covid we have been reluctant to venture out for dinner so decided to give LA CUCINA PICCOLO a try. After the initial shock of seeing the price difference between dine-in and delivery we decided to support local business. The differance was staggering with small portions, dry and tasteless pasta and the star of the meal which was veal was ho-hum at best. Not a delivery fault as it came fairly quickly and fairly hot. Sad to say won't be a second visit wether it be dine-in or delivery. Need to pick up your game and put out the fine food you used to serve. David N Richmond

Dined with party of 5, very accommodating, great for family and for social events. They take authentic Italian dishes and add their own personality.
I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was balanced with a thinly breaded crust topped with a cheese and tomato sauce.
Would recommend trying out of all the Richmond Italian restaurants.

Ordered take out lasagna. Price was $21.00 each. They had a deal, half off 2nd order. We ordered 2, plus some cheese bread. Called at 5:10 PM and I was told it would be ready at 6:00 PM which I thought was a little long. I arrived at 5:50 PM. My order was ready. I took it home and the lasagna was cold, the cheese bread was cold. The portions were very small. Even with the 2nd one half off I felt ripped off.
The food was good( after I heated it up) but portions way to small for the price, especially a take out order.

The best lasagna I have ever had! I usually go to a restaurant that primarily serves seafood, or that has a great patio when I come to Stevston in the summertime, but I had a bit of a craving for a Italian so I thought I would give this place a go. So glad I did! I have been back multiple times, everything I have had there has been amazing! And they have great catch of the day specials.

Thank you for catering my event (Marian Conference) on short notice. Your recommendation was perfect. The food we ordered was delicious and enjoyed by all. Will be using your services again.
I just found out… that you were Paesano’s! I loved that restaurant and was sad to see it closed. But now you’re back again! Sweet! Will recommend you to many.
God Bless!

One fine dining place if you love Italian. Chef is awesome. Ask what kind of twists you want in your for and he'll make it happen. Good collection of wines if you are a wine junkie.
Did you see the pics I uploaded?
That's my food. Isn't it delicious?
Great local place to hangout on the corner of the street.

It's a very homey Italian restaurant in the Steveston village. I was taken by two of my friends and pleased by their food. We ordered the caprese salad and the calamari to share. Surprisingly the calamari is different than the usually deep fried one. It came with squid covered with spicy sauce, which can be very tasty, if you like spicy food.
The Caprese Salad was covered with drizzles of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The portion was pretty good, enough for two people to share.
For pasta, we each ordered different type of fettuccine. One of the fettuccine de casa, another one is

This new restaurant had a big renovation from the old restaurant it use to be. The inside is completely different. The staff there are friendly. The Decor is simple, clean and current. The food was good. However the prices were too high around $20 a plate, almost $10 for a glass of wine. I suppose that wasn't too off putting because it was crowded on the weekend.

Great little restaurant. Feels very family oriented and the waitress was down to earth, prompt and helpful. I had cannelloni and it was great. Focassia to start was great and husband had clams and mussels to start and then lasagne and he thought they were both great.
A little pricey but would definitely go back.

Atmosphere: Nice, clean and stylish without being pretentious.
Price: Market value for what it is.
Customer service: Beyond awesome and friendly.
Food: The food was okay, nothing compared to others. It's about the sauce, there needs to be a little more flavor all around, however, they have the bases executed for the pasta sauce. Something to work on but nothing to take too many points off for.

We dropped by at around 2:45 hoping to grab a late lunch. Unfortunately the open sign on the outside didn't say the timing of lunch and we ended up going in and seated to be told we would be given the "all day menu". Most of the dishes were on be pricey side $20+. We ended up getting the fettuccine d'angelo to be shared. It was ok but bland to a degree. The pasta was a good al dente but I wasn't an overly big fan of the Demi sauce. There were pieces of chicken and sausage in the pasta but it wasn't great.

The servers here are very friendly and knowledgeable, but we all found the food lacking in both flavour and texture.
The best dish of the night was the butternut squash ravioli, which our server confirmed was actually purchased from an Italian vendor. The antipasti platter was mediocre and overpriced while most of our meat dishes were a bit tough. We also found that the marinara pasta that came on the side of each meat dish seemed quite low in quality.
We did find the fish of the day decent and the tiramisu quite good. There aren't many Italian restaurants in Richmond and I guess if

My wife and I were taken here for my birthday last night by my parents. 1st time here and we loved it.
Everyone had a fantasitc meal. The service was excellent from start to finish. Small family run business where the people care. Our server Cici steered us to the Avacado Salad to start which was delicious. Veal parmigana and chicken parmigiana were both done perfectly as well.
Reasonably priced and a great small local place. We will be back for sure!

This is Italian Restaurant reopened in steveston, Richmond. The chef has his own ethnic Italian sauces. The pastas are amazing, although the portions are too big. The staff is amazing, very friendly and accomadates the food to your liking. The restuarant is in the middle of steveston. I would definitely recommend to come by and try it out.

Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant. It's the same owner/chef who couldn't make it when it was called Paesano's.
The food is bland and mediocre. The service is strange, lets leave it at that. I knew I was in trouble when I attempted to order Lasagne and I was told "we don't have anymore"! Seriously, in an Italian restaurant? That's like running out of steaks in a Steak restaurant! On a positive note though, the ambiance was pleasant and I really enjoyed my glass of Argentinian Carbernet Sauvignon!

I'm torn. This is one of my favourite Italian places that is new and old. Of course they've been a part of this town for so many years serving up Italian food in an area that really lacks this cuisine.
So I am quite happy that they're back! Cici is still there, the Chef is still the same. It seems like it was only less than 15 years ago when I first discovered them.
Yes, La Cucina Piccolo, though a new name is the same old place that used to be on Bayview.
It was sad that the owners of George's Taverna couldn't make it happen and that it went away. But Italian food
