Dr. Chan grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Edmonton shortly after to pursue dentistry at the University of Alberta. Dr. Eng has lived in Edmonton most of her life and had always felt she was good at working with her hands. She is behind the scenes taking care of office maintenance and sterilization on Saturdays.

I’ve been here twice since the covid 19 pandemic and I’m very happy with how well kept the dental office is. It’s clean and all staff are following safety procedures to a tee.
The staff are amazing there - I have never had a bad experience and the staff recognize me at every visit. They are friendly and are always so helpful.

Went in for some fillings and repair work, and just when I thought dentist was almost prepared, he was actually completed.
Usually when I get a filling there’s clamps, and tubes, and my jaw is stretched to the max.
But I found this dentist to be gentle and reassuring and checking your ok. I didn’t feel like there was way too much going on in your mouth.
Definitely would recommend!!

After trying many different dentists and dental practices over the years, this is THE place that I've stuck with. Even though we moved out of the neighbourhood a few years ago, and I don't work downtown any longer, I'm still more than happy to head down to the Oliver neighbourhood whenever I need a cleaning or checkups (and in fact, the whole family goes to this dentist now!). I've never been a fan of going to the dentist (and probably never will be lol), but they really do make you feel comfortable and relaxed here.

Dr. Eng and the staff at Oliver Family Dental are truly amazing. I have been going there since they opened and I have always been extremely happy with their services. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are great with kids of all ages and their priority is keeping our teeth healthy! I highly recommend them for any of your dental needs.

Great service. All the staff I interacted with were very professional, nice and accommodating. I did not feel rushed and felt very comfortable. The clinic was clean, have enough parking for those who have cars and they are open on Saturdays which I really like. They do direct billing to your insurance too and send dental estimate before your appointment. Appointment is very easy.

I hate going to the dentist and usually put it off as much as I can and because it gives me such anxiety and although my experience has gotten significantly better since switching to this clinic, it still isn't my favourite thing to do. Until today! I just left got my annual check up and cleaning done and had the GREATEST experience, my nurse, Candy was the best! Her voice was super calming which made the experience lot easier to deal with and she was very thorough and explained things that no one ever has before (in my 30 years of going of the dentist!!!) She went above and beyond by even recommending

Oliver Family Dental clinic gave me the best dental experience ever! I called them for an emergency appointment because of a severe toothache, and they accommodated me on the same day I called. I get anxious whenever I'm at the dentist, but everyone from the receptionist, the assistants, and Dr. Chang made me comfortable and well taken care of. All my procedures were painless. Thanks to Dr. Chang and the assistant's professionalism. They will always check if I'm okay before they continue working! One of my worries was the fees, but Janet made sure that my insurance will cover mostly everything

I have been going to see Dr Eng and her staff at Oliver Family Dental for well over a decade. Although I originally started going to the clinic due to proximity because I only lived a few blocks away, I now live a considerable distance from the clinic but still make the commute to go to the clinic because of the exceptional service I have received there. The staff are always courteous and professional, the clinic itself is beautiful, and the work I've had done there by the dental staff is second to none. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone in need of finding a new dentist!

The first time I met Dr.Chan, he took me as an emergency when one of my teeth basically crumbled apart. He rebuilt that tooth, and I've been coming back since.
I find Dr. Chan sympathetic to my cowardice, and by the time I leave his office, I always wonder why i was so freaked out.
What really DOES freak me out, much to my delight, is the SPEED and efficiency they work in. I just had three fillings done today, and I was in and out in 50 minutes, freezing time included.
Which is good, because their Shaw cable systems for their overhead TVs don't work worth crap. (They tell me they

Not everyone enjoys the dentist but I actually like it. The reason being is I like my dentist and her staff. I don't really enjoy practically laying down with my mouth open, with saw like sounds coming from it but there are tvs to distract you from all the noise.
