Actual amount of tooth whitening will vary between patients. The color of any fillings, crowns or veneers will NOT be affected by tooth whitening. This may lead to your natural teeth being whiter than teeth that have been previously restored by a dentist. Some patients will experience mild sensitivity during the whitening process.

Best dentist ever. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but with Smilezone. Samantha my hygienist is very kind and helpful. She is just excellent at what she does. She always takes the time to explain the reasons she is doing things, answer questions, and ensure that I'm comfortable. With Samantha cleaning my teeth, the experience goes by so quickly without the usual pain and discomfort. I highly recommend Samantha . The lady behind the desk is also very helpful. If you need a dental device ordered or you need to ask your insurance about a certain procedure coverage, she is happy to oblige

Yesterday I went here for the first time to deal with a bad tooth, and my experience was nothing short of excellent. All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Lauber ended up staying after hours to do my tooth extraction, and she was so funny and reassuring. I’m a very high anxiety dental patient, so I appreciated the fact that they helped me feel more calm. I will likely be coming back!

I want to thank Dr Marchand, I’ve always been uneasy at dentists, he is the absolute best dentist I have ever gone too. He is so sincere and honest and amazing at what he does. My husband started out seeing him about a year ago , and now our whole family is seeing him. He is easy going and explains everything In detail that he will be doing to our teeth. I highly recommend him and the staff at Smilezone on 109th St. You will be made to feel welcome and love the extra care you will receive. The ladies at the front desk and so warm and friendly, always smiling. I will be recommending him to anyone

I would highly recommend. Tooth was bothering me yesterday so I did the message off of the website thing and within the hour they called me. They were willing to set up an apt that evening but I said morning would work better. Kind, courteous, staff. They did a phenomenal job though out the process. While being a new patient filling out paperwork, xray, freeze, and remove my tooth took no more than an hour. Asked me if I wanted a root canal or to be removed I said removed. No forcing or even trying to sway me to like others have in the past. The price actually shocked me. A lot cheaper than the

I get my teeth cleaning done by Sam aka Samantha the dental hygienist here and she is the best & sweetest! My teeth are always squeaky clean and fresh after my appt.
I was recommended to get one of my wisdom teeth pulled and was terrified!
I went to Dr. Marchand for the wisdom teeth pulling and he made me feel sooooo much better and comfortable. He was very gentle and it was actually a quick process! I highly recommend the team here.

After three years of dental cleanings at this office, my gum bleeding has gotten only worse. Now when I floss, my gum definitely bleeds more easily than even before I went in for my latest Aug 2019 cleaning. Some parts of gum that weren't bleeding before the cleaning now begin to bleed very easily during flossing, which is ridiculous. During the latest cleaning, even the hygienist suggested I go for a specialist in the future for gum treatment (instead of coming back to their office).
Also, only after two years had I found out by myself that numbing gels can be used to reduce gum sensitivity

Short story: the receptionist treated me terribly over an insurance mixup and embarrassed me in front of other customers because I couldn't afford $500 for a cleaning and exam. I walked out not having any services done and cried in my car for 30 minutes for how I was treated
Long story: Two years ago when I came to this dentist office for the first time (the only time) I had an overall good experience. The hygienist was incredibly nice and the dentist very informative. Today was the complete opposite experience and I will no longer be returning. I booked an appointment for my first cleaning

I have never had a worse experience at a dentist in my life. I got there at 10:40 I got some x rays and an exam. The lady had to take my x rays over and over because she didn't know how to angle it properly. I understand that she might of been new and that's ok. I decided to get two fillings done. The dentist freezes my teeth at 1220 and asked me… if I can wait 20 mins. ok, no problem. TWO HOURS later I'm still sitting in the chair, mouth completely frozen I decide to go to the front desk and see what is happening. They tell me the doctor is busy and have to reschedule. Uhh.. keep in mind

My first visit there for a cleaning/checkup was great. They pre-confirmed my insurance, and took care of all the paperwork.
The cleaning/exam was done quickly and comfortably, and it was a very comfortable experience! They addressed the concerns that I had, and took the time to make they didn't miss any potential problems.

Doctors are great! I like the technology there and how they set it up their station.
The reception Amber, I am not sure if she is still there, as I do not see her anymore was very rude lady.
I did had many miscoding for my insurance claim, if I did not ask her to look into again and again it would cost me big $$$.

I'm a nervous dental patient and I've received excellent care from Dr Caouette and the rest of the team. Procedures are always well explained and all my questions are answered. I find that my appointments are always on time and last as long as I was told to expect. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but that's typical for the University area. I noticed a comment in another review that they don't direct bill insurance, but they have always done so for me. Maybe check before you go. Perhaps it depends on the insurance company? I recommend The Smile Zone :)

The only reason why I went there was because it is very close to U of A campus and it is part of the dental network for students. However, to my surprise, they do not accept direct payment from the insurance company. I have to go there twice last year to get my wisdom teeth removed. The first time was so-called "new patient examination", where I waited 30 mins to see a dentist. He looked at my teeth for like 5 mins and told me I could get them removed and that was it, except I have to book ANOTHER appointment for that! This 5-min "consultation" costed $65??!! Lucky for me,

Great staff, wonderful for dental work BUT DO NOT GET ORTHODONTICS DONE THERE. I was told invisaligns would work for me when they clearly would not. I went to see an ortho after two years of unsuccessfully wearing the retainers and 5600 dollars later and he told me I would need teeth pulled if I wanted my teeth straight. Thank you for wasting a students valuable money and time. I am extremely disappointed. I am now spending another 8 000 to get if fixed. I feel ripped off.
