I love the food, its my "comfort food" and I find myself coming back here every week for lunch or dinner.
Pricing is very reasonable. This is a new place that open up in 2012. So my friend & I dropped in again to have a bite. Mexican is not necessarily my favorite cuisine, but the way everything tasted from the Burritos to the desserts was really really good. The desserts were an unexpected surprise. I Highly recommend Mexican Amigos.

This is my family's go to Mexican spot. Always get the Guacamole and the Habanero dip as appetizers. Have tried the vegetarian tacos, burritos, chimichangas, chilli relents and a few other dishes. Always great with lots of fresh veggies and flavourful salsas. My sons love the deep fried ice cream and churros to top off their meals. Margaritas are really good too.

Superb service, nestled in a Mexican themed restaurant. Great for families, sports fanatics and tasty, fresh Mexican options. When your there say HI to Bahara and Arshia are such sweet, personable and engaging staff. Overrall great spot!! Washrooms are very clean! NOTE: Sorry, food was too good that I didn't get a pic of the nachos!!!

Really want to give this place a 4 stars, maybe even a 5 stars thanks to the bartender that got me secret hot sauce from the kitchen that was out of this world!!
However we came here coz my man wanted Fajitas, he ordered the steak fajitas that turned out to be hamburger meat. Do not put steak if it's not steak! Put beef or heck out hamburger! He was very disappointed he only get 2 of the 4 fajitas! I got the Fish tacos which was slightly dry but the special hot sauce our bartender got us made it awesome! We do want to come back to try their new birria tacos! Hope it's not hamburger meat

This is rounded score/ would have rated it 3.5 if the option was possible. We ordered the nachos, cheese quesadilla, shrimp tostadas, and steak fajitas. Food was ok, but overall seems to be under-seasoned or lacking in flavour. Food was fresh overall but the flavours were just not what I expected. The server was busy but he was helpful.

Awesome! Authentic Mexican food. We sat on the patio, not busy because it was three in the afternoon. The food was delicious. Fresh and tasty. Pricing is pretty good too. The service was great, and Covid protocols were observed. We have been there twice and both times the food was amazing! Check it out!

Portions here were very big and filling. Staff was so friendly and checked up often, and overall we had a great experience. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the taste of the food itself. Fried things like nachos and chimichanga were great but things like quesadillas and rice tasted a bit plain. I would still come back though, especially to sit on the lovely patio.

The food was good. Ambiance is good. We tried the platter and tacos and it was on point. The only reason I am giving it a 4star is because of the service. We had to wait forever for the food and the bill to arrive to our table. I feel like they are short staff. They definitely need more servers. Overall a great experience

My niece has been raving about this place for years. We’ve ordered a few times during the pandemic and been very impressed. The food is great (we’ll circle back to that in a sec), but they have mastered the art… of packaging Mexican food for take-out/delivery. Sounds crazy, I know, but the food is never soggy and always arrives hot, 2 impossible feats with Mexican I find. Hearty portions, simple ingredients, home cooked comfort food. I don’t know what it is about their rice, but it is so fricken good and I’m not even a rice person! Rice is one of my sides every time

Appetizers: we started off with nachos and dip and wanted to try all the dips they offered. Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and the fried beans dip. All were very good and refreshing. The beans were on the spicy side but it was such a good combo.
Enchiladas were nice and cheesy. Fish tacos - the fish was quite dry and very chewy, not sure if it's because of the fish they chose for this particular dish. The amigos salad was refreshing and it was just enough food for a lunch.

We did an after-work get together thing here and it was perfect for this type of event. The ambience is fun and relaxed. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and attentive even for a larger group. As a bonus, they have live entertainment on Friday evenings. The singer/guitarist who performed on the evening we came was very good.

Sooo yummy, so authentic for a real mexican meal. A tad expensive but the portions are huge!! Its nice that they have a to go bar inside the restaurant as well, makes it quick and easy to grab a quick bite. Altho, their to go bar only serves select dishes (taco, burrito and bowls?). This makes sense though because can only make simple dishes for fast service at the to go bar!

Fried food is great here, the crispy taco, sweet potato fries and churros are so crispy and nice. I also like the guacamole that is super fresh! Nachos is great. They also have a live guitarist to play and sing inside the restaurant.
Local Mexican style. Portion is big for a girl but just enough for a guy. Food overall is 4 stars but I think they're a bit over price. I will go back only if I'm craving for Mexican food. We spent around 22-30 per person just on food (we didn't order drinks or beer)

The place has a nice party feel to it. The walls are painted in bright colours. The TVs behind the bar are playing sports.
The wait staff at Mexican Amigos are energetic, courteous and helpful.
The bar offers a ton of fun drink options, including giant bulldog margaritas. If the mango bulldog is too sweet for your taste a splash of lime juice will take the sugar down the appropriate notch. Just ask the waiter.

Sometimes you have to go with the times and do an update to a oldie. Two years ago I wrote a review and it just doesn't make up for the fact that this place has thrived and grown.
The menu is basically the same, the drinks are the same, the people are "not" the same, the crowd isn't the same either. The place has gotten consistently packed at nights.

Order the Amigos platter! It literally comes with a bit of everything!
If you like variety, this is your best bet! It comes with a small chicken quesadilla, a beef burrito, a hard taco, and two sides! Soo much food it's almost impossible to finish in one meal but totally worth the price of $20.

The food was great, we really enjoyed our meals. This is a simple happy place for a meal. It's an interesting place, it's part Mexican restaurant with live Spanish music and part sports bar with 5 huge widescreen TVs over the long bar and many more around the wall and even single screens in some of the booths.
The menu is single sided, simple and short. The staff are moderately capable, but for sure polite and trying to please. The place is tidy. The atmosphere was hustle and bustle, a little loud, and that's because the place was full with a lineup at the door.
