Our first visit, but we will definitely be back! Great food, prepared well, served in a casual environment with friendly knowledgeable staff.
Absolutely no complaints with the food, from the roasted tomato soup, right through to homemade tiramisu. Pasta was plentiful in seafood and served perfectly el dente. Lamb shank was soft and falling off the bone. A Delicious Meal.

I’ve driven past Citro many times and have never thought to go in. Tonight my friend and I had dinner here. The food was phenomenal. Taste and portions were perfect. It’s an open kitchen concept and the food is made when ordered. The restaurant was filled with aromas that made you hungrier. Emma our server was friendly and very pleasant. We met the chef, who takes great pride in his work, was just as nice. We will definitely be back.
Highly recommend.

Looking for a sit down restaurant close to Mackenzie Health Centre so we could take my mom who is in long-term care for dinner and wow did we luck out. I think Johnny only had one other person in the back with him. I still don’t understand how he managed to get six different dishes out of the kitchen at exactly the same time, all of them hot, all of them with exquisite and individual tastes. It’s a small little place that you almost don’t notice from the street, however it has a big restaurant taste. I guess Johnny has his secrets on how he gets everything so fresh. We tried a lot of dishes

First and last experience here. Rarely leave bad reviews, but it was just way too expensive for what you get. Also the fact that they ran out of food on a normal Saturday night. Some of our group had to re-choose their dishes twice because they ran out food for the dishes. The food was bland and honestly could have been made at home. Waitress was super nice and it's probably a great local spot, but I'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes and pay a little more for twice the amount of food. The entrees were regular priced but had half the content. Try Farro in Vaughan.

Came here for my birthday couple weeks ago and it was absolutely delightful. It was quite on a weekday and everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered two soups – a roasted tomato with feta and another butternut squash. This was followed by a golden beet salad garnished with pomegranate and pine nuts. My husband had the risotto and I, the eggplant pasta. All dishes were so flavourful and beautifully presented. The portion of the main dishes were just right – not too little nor too much.
The decor of the place was quaint and cozy. Paintings by local artists were hung around the room and

Came here today as I was driving in the area. Saw the reviews and gave it a shot. Ordered the grilled calamari and a veggie lasagna. Lasagna was very good with the home made tomatoes sauce but the grilled calamari was a bad choice...and the dressing on the salad was weird. But that lasagna though was GOOD!!!! (Portion pretty good enough for a person only.
