Everything in room is a little questionable in cleanliness. There was shoe marks on the wall. The bed wasn't very comfy. But the worst part of it all was a extremely loud fridge located right next to the bed!! That was terrible. Tried to unplug it but you would need to pull the whole fridge out. Also the wifi stopped working. So not reliable wifi here. I wouldn't spend another night here. And they ask for a $200 deposit which is abusive if you ask me.

After the stay, have to delete the previous one. Wonderful and clean room, enjoy the walk in shower so much that wanted that in my future residence. Staffs are wonderfully friendly if there is such an expression. Have me direction to the breakfast place, nice walk. Then when I asked for the continental breakfast, the lady explained about the Covid situation; could not serve food so she gave me two packs of oatmeal, cookies and granola bars. Nice restaurant in the neighborhood. Shopped at a more decent and organized thrift stores. Thank you for making my two nights stay really like vacation. Definitely

The cleaning staff is ruuuude! Expect for one or two employees they all were very rude. Definitely not kid friendly as they will try charge you for anything and everything!! Got a warning from front desk to clean as best as I can because it will come off my damage deposit including if there’s mess on the floor. Which is ridiculous because the walls and floor were gross when I got here. Got in trouble for putting my garbage and towels outside room door then later got told to make sure I put them outside my door. Definitely won’t be coming back here.

Terrible service. Rude staff. They could have done better if their guest called and asked for help with the shower (checked - in late and shower didn't work). She stated her name is Tiabs and she was a manager at the inn. Like seriously the whole time all she kept saying was "the damage has been done and we can't do nothing for you now. What kind of service is that? You should have been rated 0* not even 1

There is evidence of bed bugs in both rooms we had with them. On top of that the rooms are dirty the heater didn’t work in one of the rooms the coffee machine didn’t work and ice machine doesn’t work either. To make things worse there was a scary looking knife I found In my sons room, when I brought this to their attention they said they would give me 100$ back when it came to check out it was only 20$ they were willing to give back. I hope no one has to stays here.

I HAD A MOUSE IN MY ROOM 🐁 mouse trap behind the cupboard, when I spoke to the manager she told me she had no idea about the trap and a customer must have put it there???? bed sheet was dirty had to request a new one, when I got a new room there was hair in the bath, shower head hanging off the wall, This place is a MAJOR HEALTH RISK DUE TO LACK OF SANITATION! fire alarm going off at 6.45am and I was told this was because somebody was having a hot shower? so you are expected to have a cold one, when I asked for a refund i was bluntly refused and told they gave me a new room and that was

I would give this maybe 1.5 stars. We stayed here to attend an event that was close-by and this place was geographically better than other places in area. I know this is a cheap place and my expectations were not high to begin with. First problem i had was with the room keys not working, even after the clerk issued me new keys.
The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom when it was turned on because the shower spout had a leak. It soaked the ceiling and it looks like this has been happening for quite some time since i noticed a huge bubble in the ceiling just above the shower head. When i

This hotel is nothing like the reviews!
My mom and I stayed here for 2 days and it was perfect!
The beds were fine NO bed bugs and trust me we checked! We had the bed completely unmade and flipped over. The towels, sheets and comforter were completely white and smelled freshly washed.
The breakfast was good. Was there a ton to choose from, no. But the choices that they had were filling and delicious!
As far as customer service went the staff was PHENOMENAL!! We forgot to print off tickets for an event and the front desk spent 30+ minutes working with us to get them printed.
I would highly

If you like hot showers, this is the place to go .Water is set so hot, it will scald you if you don't turn cold on first. There were dirty handprints on the walls of our room,. carpet throughout the motel is stained beyond belief. Black curly hairs all over the tub and shower walls on checking in. Toilet ran all night. Tub faucet leaked. free breakfast consists of a standing only area with cheap baked sweets, coffee, orange juice if you get there first, and oatmeal ( no milk). No microwave, as advertised. Old stove that could only power one element or the oven at a time. Handle was broken

Stay away from this hotel !!! We are traveling from US to Vancouver for business in such a short notice. We could not find any hotel due to weekend and too close to the travel date. So finding this hotel and paying $142 for a night was the only option that we have .
We thought we would stay there for two nights until we leave . But as soon as we went in to see the room, it was very old, outdated and stinky room they gave us. It was midnight when we arrived so we had no choice but staying there for one night as what we paid for. We informed the girl at front desk that we will only stay for one

Staying here was a big mistake. the room is clean enough but quite dated to be sure. when I arrive to the manager was having to settle a dispute between two customers one who was complaining of having been up all night the night before because of partying with girls and loud voice is in the rooms near him. from my perspective there was so much noise from different sources door slamming people and children running down the hall and the walls and floors must have been paid out at the cheapest construction that I really didn't get a great night sleep. Needless to say I skipped the free breakfast

It's cheap. I'm cutting you off right now--it's cheap. I know you're going to think, "yeah, but you have to expect some measure of"--nope--cheap. In fact, year to year, whenever I travel to Vancouver and look for places to stay on Travelocity or Expedia, it's always near the top of the list of most inexpensive. That must account for something. And I'll go out on the limb and say that if you're looking for a cheap place to stay that doesn't share a bathroom with strangers, doesn't force you clean up the room when you leave, or doesn&apos

I stayed here for 3 nights during a weekend and each night was calm and quiet. Close to downtown Vancouver, complimentary wifi, clean washrooms, fridge, stove and all the cooking utensils you need. The service was friendly and quick with no complications.
If I were to make another trip to Vancouver, on a budget, I will be going back to Happy Day Inn.

The best place to stay near Vancouver on a budget. Period!
Service: 4/5 - Easy check in and check out. In and out in less than 2 min total.
Rooms: 5/5 - Remodeled and very clean. $44/night in Vancouver I expected much worse. Bathrooms were great! Comfortable bed
Common Areas: 2/5 - A little rough, smelled like weed smoke. Could use a remodel like the rooms.
Food/drink: N/A - No restaurant
