Dean Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the Kleinburg ON area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by our Dean Vet Team, who are licensed, experienced veterinarians and technicians. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year-round, with proper nutrition and exercise.
Dr Helena Dean is the owner of Dean Veterinary Hospital Professional Corporation in Kleinburg. She received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989 after completing a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Guelph in 1985. Dr. Dean graduated from Leaside High School in Toronto.
Our in-house diagnostic services include X-ray and bloodwork. Our in-house diagnostic services enable us to handle emergencies, provide you with immediate answers and start appropriately treating your pet right away. In some cases, your pet may require hospitalization and further diagnostic tests. At our hospital we offer state-of-the-art diagnostics to help us manage your pet's health. In house diagnostics allow us to run a broad range of test in-house and obtain accurate results quickly. This is especially important for cases in which time is of the essence and a timely diagnosis is critical.
During surgery and other medical procedures, our team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians monitors all patients to ensure their safety. We monitor every procedure, regardless of whether it's routine or more advanced. The type of anesthesia we use depends on the procedure. Some require general anesthesia, while others may only call for local anesthesia.

Dean Veterinary Hospital is without a doubt the best. Dr. Dean is an extremely experienced veterinary of both house pets and farm pets. Dr. Dean and her incredible staff have been taking care of my pets for over two decades now. I wouldn't trust my pets anywhere else but Dean Veterinary Hospital. My brother recommended this veterinarian to me and let me tell you he was right - Dr. Dean and staff were absolutely wonderful on our first visit! I took my cat for a quick check up as I had some concerns over his hair & skin; prior to our visit they requested my cats medical records from his previous vet, they didn't require my involvement in any of that which was amazing. From the moment I handed my cat off at the door I knew he was in good hands - obviously due to COVID I could not go in, but I got a call from Dr. Dean right away and she was extremely thorough explaining her examination and

The staff are so friendly and caring. I find I dislike a lot of vets offices because it feels like the business side of things is more important and my pet feels like a number to them. Completely the opposite here. The staff seem to know the patients and animals who come in quite well and they're very no nonsense. They genuinely care about the animals and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet in the area.

Dr. Dean is just a great veterinarian. Goes beyond to help my dog Cooper. Her assistant Micheala is a joy to deal with. All the staff members are awesome!!! Somewhere safe and that is why she Cooper's veterinarian. Cooper gives you a bunch of hugs and a kisses to everyone at Dr.Deans Clinic for caring for me!!!

My dog is in love with this Veterinary Hospital and so is my family. We brought our Old English Sheepdog here ever since we got her. It has been a year since that happened and I am blown away by the professional courtesy and genuine love for animals the people that work on this vet have.
We occasionally drop off our dog here for boarding and she loves it here. When we pull up in the parking lot, she is dying to get out and pulls on her leash to get into the building faster. My dog is always dead tired after coming here.
You can be rest assured this vet is not just in it for the money, they care

Where do I even begin with this clinic?
If I could think of one word that describes not only the clinic as a whole but the dedicated team of professionals that work here it would halfto be Godsend.
The tireless dedication of the entire team at Dean Veterinary clinic is astounding. They truly embody the word Vet in its entirety, from initial greeting at the counter alongside the amazing in house staff to the vet techs that complete your initial troubleshooting issues before seeing the doctor right through to each and every doctor in the clinic. They are amazing human beings with hearts of gold

The best vet ever. Bring her a Starbucks and you get 10% off.
Seriously though, I just brought my two dogs in - again for quill removal. Friday afternoon, no appointment. This is probably the tenth emergency visit. She stays late, opens her clinic on days off and texts you the next day to make sure things are going well. She's come to the house to euthenize many cats and dogs over the years which is such a comfort to myself and kids.
I have used other vets on weekends to give her a break and it just makes me realize how great Dr. Dean and her staff are.

Dr. Dean is one of the best veterinarians I have ever gone to. She is a wonderful lady and does amazing work. I had my mini pig spayed and there isn't a scar. On top of that she is always happy to share information and her expertise. If I lived closer I would go to her for all of my animals' needs. But I only trust her when it comes to important medical matters. Thank you once again for your wonderful service and we will definitely be back!
