So happy I found this brand. Not only is it based out of Canada but it also used amazing ingredients free from toxins and chemicals you find in drug store shampoos. I tried this brand because my friend was using it. After 1 use I instantly bought 6 bottles. My hair has never felt so good or been able to go so long in between washes.
I will also say their customer service is amazing. My order was taking a bit longer than expected and after inquiring by email I received a quick response along with a coupon for my next order. 10/10 would recommend this company

There are 3 elements I liked a lot during my hair cut appointment: the end result was even better than usual, the staff was really nice and it was also very knowledgeable (I loved getting very accurate and detailed explanations about what they were doing and why).

I recently had a haircut with May. She was terrific! I have not had a good cut in about 15 years and have not been able to find a good hairdresser for my thick curly hair
The staff at calia were all very professional. The style after my cut was amazing! Usually when I get a haircut the hairdressers. Maya didn't make me feel bad about the texture of my hair, or how thick it is. I plan to return after the holidays for a color.

Earlier this year I was quite ill and lost a significant amount of my hair. The hair that didn't fall became very damaged. It was dry, extremely course and very fragile, breaking with just a light touch.
It was horrible!! I tried every pill and hair care product on the market and couldn't get any life back in my hair. I hadn't had my hair done in many months for fear of additional damage.
In addition to my dry thin hair, I now have dark roots and the new hair is coming in grey. Ugh.

If you are looking to get colour- May- is your girl! Being a natural red head, I have never dyed my hair and was nervous to ever try. With age I’ve started to get grey hair come in. When I sat in her chair for a trim, I explained to her that I was starting to get self conscious about the greys coming in, but would never dye because I didn’t think anyone could match the colour. This was my first visit to Calia. My stylist was Henry and he did a fabulous job. I came in with the covid grow out and he brought me back to gorgeous again! Most importantly, the staff was pro vaccine and all protection was in place. It was very comfortable and safety was clearly important to them. As for my hair…it looks fabulous. Henry did a great job with colour and cut. He listened to my requirements (need to tie in a ponytail, not too much maintenance, etc) and gave appropriate suggestions for colour and style. Yesterday was my first visit to Calia and it was amazing. Starting from booking till leaving with beautiful hairstyle was a great experience. May, did a great job and gave me good advise and good hairstyle. She listened attentively and asked questions about what I would like and what not after her professional recommendation. I went to this hair salon for the first time recently and was very impressed with the quality of service and the careful approach towards their staff's and client's overall safety and well being. The stylist was excellent and spent spent a full two hours in colouring, cutting and styling my hair. Skilled and talented, she did a wonderful job and I will certainly return there when I need my next cut and colour job.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting this salon. I have zero hair talent myself and never even know what I want. I placed myself in Peter's hands and the end result was just Stunning ....(if I do say so myself)

From the moment I entered the ambiance was incedibly welcoming. Cappuccino in hand and coat stashed away, they were all warm and friendly. I chatted with the desk staff and she made me feel as though I was all she had to do that day.

3 hours later he had removed 10 years from my age and my hair was filled with lovely warm caramel tones and highlights.

I have Conor cut my hair at Calia as he is the best stylist I have found for curly hair. I have stopped dyeing my hair and Comor always makes a point of saying how good it looks rather than trying to get me to dye it.

I had my hair permed wavy and dyed my hair here. The result was fantastic as it came out just as I had hoped. The stylist, whose name I forget, did wonderful job at layering all the curls! Before I sat down, she closely examined some picture samples I brought to make sure that style is going to fit me and how feasible the style was. She made some modifications to the style, which turned out to be better than what's on pictures!

After moving into the area I chose Calia at random from the local salons when I was struck by a whim and decided to chop off 10" of hair. I got an appointment for the next day with a senior stylist named Tracy. When I arrived at 6:30 pm the place was empty except for myself, Tracy and the friendly receptionist who suggested with so much hair coming off we donate it to Locks of Love to be made into a wig (which made me feel great).
