Theo's Restaurant is making sure that it is in compliance with current BC safety regulations. We've prepared a document that outlines our commitment to serving our restaurant patrons while keeping our working staff safe. Theo and Mary Theodosakis opened the doors in 1976 with the vision to provide authentic Greek dishes served in a relaxing and beautiful setting.
Forty years later, that promise continues and the vision expands to include collaborating with local food producers throughout the Okanagan Similkameen, an increasing list of award winning Okanagan wineries, and cultivating greens and vegetables from our garden in Naramata and from our new rooftop garden above our restaurant.

Food. Atmosphere. Service. The trifecta of an enjoyable evening. Should you go? Yes. I ordered the two shared platters so we could sample the range of what they offered. If you've never had Greek food you'll be spoiled. If you've experienced Greek food you'll wonder why other restaurants don't match the quality and luxuriousness of flavor. Go. It'll be worth your while.

We will not recommend this place, my husband and I very disappointed about our server Janette444 ‘s attitude, The food was salty, and when my husband mentioned, there wasn’t any reaction, she ignored us .., But… that wasn’t enough for her , she came back asking if she can take the plates, in which still was plenty food,we ordered a bottle of wine, and that was still untouched… After when I try to explain to her that why she was asking to take our plates, she explained” The portion was big and not everyone is finishing” It doesn’t make sense at all

I will not recommended anything other than their Lamb Shoulder. Their Lamb Shoulder is just so, so delicious!
Some of us ordered the beef souvlaki and it was just bland. Owner admitted that it was their fault because they did not have enough time to marinate their beef tenderloin.
I was just reminded that their portions are just "enough". And commenting on their sides: the rice was dry and potatoes are too salty.
Great service but food is just sub par.
To owner, its sub par because it was not excellent for all the dishes that came out. We have our own opinion hence what this review

Horrible food and service. Very salty food. Server only came to us when we called her. It wasn't even full!
Spinach and cheese Phillip pastry not good,Costco better.
Rosemary chicken is 50% bone per bite and incredibly salty. Potatoes doused in salt.
Rack of lamb same problem.
Took 15 mins for the server to grab the bill.
Best thing to eat out of the three dishes is the rice.

My wife is Greek, and seeing that she is, we have always loved this place and the food…until yesterday.
Here’s the problem…service was bad, hosting was horrendous, food prices have been enormously over inflated now, (with Covid as the excuse), requested a special table, told we couldn’t have it, but yet that table sat empty the entire time we were… there, we were jammed into an ugly corner, looks like a child labour factory because the staff look like they are all in grade 8, and the food portions are not the size the used to be.
So we talked to the manager - he

I honestly don't know why there are so many good reviews for this place. The service was AWFUL. We were seated and completely ignored for at least 15 min until I finally asked someone walking by if we could be helped by whoever was supposed to serve us. She said "yes" and then offered us some water. Brought the water and walked away, I didn't see her go get anyone else to serve us, and about 10 min later our server finally showed up with "hi, what can I get you". No apology for making us wait.
Server did literally nothing but bring our food and drinks. Never asked

I was surprised that the souvlaki doesn't come with a Greek salad or pita bread. I often eat at Greek restaurants when traveling and always order the souvlaki dinner and this is the first time I have not had salad and pita come with it. A man came by our table ( who I assumed from his manner was the owner ) to ask how things were and we asked about the bread, he said it was extra and we ordered it but it never came. One of the ladies in our party had ordered saganaki and when it arrived she took one bite and almost spat it out because it tasted of strong alcohol which they use to flambé,

Best Greek restaurant in the Okanagan! Amazingly delicious and authentic Greek food, superb service and a very friendly, cozy atmosphere. We had the seafood platter for two, which we'll order again - it had generous portions and the garlic prawns and calamari were perfect. Oh ... and then the belly dancer comes out, and yes, the owner Greg may dance for you and smash a plate or two. A great dining experience!

Super cute restaurant with a beautiful indoor courtyard. Food was delicious and service was good even though there were a couple hiccups when our table was missed for quite a while we were seated upstairs and after our meal because the server was super busy. She made it up to us after realizing and was wonderful! Totally understandable. Definitely worth coming here for a date night!

This place lives up to the hype! Great space with multiple rooms that give it a cozy vibe even on a cold day.
The roasted beet salad has roasted garlic cloves in it as well. Delicious.
I had the salmon and veggies in parchment and it was outstanding as well. It's a very large portion and I had to take the other half home.
Warm and friendly staff. It was busy on a Sunday night. To be safe, make reservations.

I was visiting Penticton with a group of friends for a wedding. On the evening of arrival, we were looking for dinner options and one of my friends recommended Theo's due to great reviews. Turns out he was spot on.
There were eight of us in total. Four of us decided to share an appetizer platter for two and the Theo's platter for two (under their dinner section). There was a good variety of different foods and large quantities of it! It had everything you would normally want when craving greek - lamb, dolmates, calamari, chicken liver (that was new for me, but really great flavor),

If you ever walk into a Greek restaurant, you'd also know what it's like walking into a Greek's home. Spackled in layers of white stucco. Interior walls appear built by Ivo Shandor from Ghostbusters as they block out Wi-Fi the moment you turn a corner. They have wine cellars in the basement. Their front lawns are fenced in for some reason. There are fountains. And I love the fact that when you pass through the doors of a Greek home, you still find yourself inexplicably outside.
So yes, Theos' is magnificently Greek. You pass through the main doors and see one dining
