We celebrated our 10th anniversary this weekend. I wanted a quaint, out of the way spot and The Steveston fit the bill perfectly! We loved the jacuzzi room with a large comfortable king bed. The front desk… staff was helpful and generous. I had heard the bar downstairs was a nuisance for previous guests and meant to bring my earplugs. Unfortunately, I forgot them and it was the monthly "party night" at the Buck and Ear. LOL! It was LOUD! BUT... I would definitely book a room here again. My only recommendation would be to have earplugs available to guests or alert them when they book that

We booked an economy room at the Steveston Hotel based on the reviews and the price being fairly reasonable. When we arrived the guy running the check in counter was also running the liquor store next door. He… wasn't particularly attentive and prioritized the liquor store customers over us, but that didn't bother us too much.
Arriving in the room we were faced with a dated TV, faded curtains, dirty shower, cracked lamp shade, unknown substance on the alarm clock, hole in the bathroom floor, and peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. The brochure says that "All rooms will be renovated by

Stayed in the hotel in the middle of summer. Room was clean but no air conditioning. There were not even any screens on the windows. There's a lot of mosquitoes and bugs at night. We had to end up spending the evening in the dark so we could have the window open and not attract the bugs in. Was a very uncomfortable and stuffy stay especially 8 months pregnant. Only giving it a 2 because the staff was nice and the room was clean.

Poor WiFi connectivity and pounding-loud bar downstairs (until 2am) underneath the hotel rooms - beware.
