Arrived almost 2am from a late flight and left early morning so we weren't expecting a lot. While the decor is dated and the room is quite dim, the pillows were soft and the bed was comfortable. I fell asleep right away. Surprised with the hot breakfast which was simple but good and the dining area staff was friendly and helpful. The taxi we requested took a long time so the front desk staff (Jan 4th early morning shift) booked a Lyft ride for us on his personal device (we don't use the app) which we really appreciated as he went above and beyond.

Stayed here twice, both on a Thursday night, one time on my way out of town and another time one week later on my way back home. The second stay was $20 more than the week before, which I mentioned but was told the prices change?..weird. Oh well. My first stay at $89 was probably 4 stars, good comfy place to lay your head before an early flight. The second stay at $109 a week later makes me be more critical on them, as I said its a good deal at $89, its more you get what you pay for at $109. During my second stay I noticed the shower struggling to keep consistent temperature during showers whether

I TOTALLY regret not spending an extra 20-30 dollars and staying somewhere else. There is no airport shuttle, so you’ll be spending the extra money on a taxi anyways. the rooms are small, outdated and they smell. Like thick dust and must. Makes my chest feel heavy- The beds are somewhat comfortable but I currently can’t sleep because I can hear the person in the room next to me snoring SO LOUD. So yeah. The walls are paper thin. Vending machine is out of order. This was a waste of 125 bucks. Also a 200 dollar deposit seems steep for one night in a place like this. I will never, ever stay here

King room was clean, comfy bed, hot showers in spacious bathroom, very friendly breakfast staff for included breakfast and convenient location. Parking was included and reasonable rates for this old Scottish motif hotel- very quaint. TV channels were odd and door lock was finicky otherwise great and would stay again.

I stayed here twice, at the beginning and the end of my trip. Great location, near the airport (free shuttle) and at a 10 minutes walk from the train to downtown Vancouver. They have a good, free breakfast. The staff was friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is that the rooms were dated and the bath drain in my first room was a bit clotted so the water had a hard time to drain. I also had difficulty entering both my rooms with the key card. I had to slide it in a few times before I was able to open the door. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it for a short stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Abercorn hotel. The price was fair. They offered a shuttle from the airport which was a quick drive. The hotel was close to convenience stores and costco which helped during the trip. It was also close to the sky train and the buses. Our room was clean, the shower had good pressure and it was quiet. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast daily. We would stay again.

New HK cafe tucked into the lobby of the Abercorn Inn on Bridgeport Road, adjacent to Shanghai Wonderful. We stopped by for dinner during their soft opening week.
The inside of the restaurant was clean and tidy. Debit and credit cards are accepted. There is ample parking available in the hotel lot (just avoid the permit-only spots).
I really wanted to give this place more stars since the service was so good, and I'm hoping to do so later with an updated review. Bonnie & crew were super friendly and attentive during our initial visit! If service was the only factor, this would have been

All the reviews on here are from bitter international travellers during a pandemic. I stayed here with my boyfriend for 1 night to take a flight out of Vancouver Airport. Check in was easy and our room was ready when we arrived (nearly two hours early). Nice windows you can open in the room and ~8 minutes away from transit to the downtown core. The shuttle service was ready for us under 5 minutes after we requested it - was a quick easy and complimentary way to get to the airport. Affordable stay in Vancouver and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
