Adventure Bay encompasses four acres on the south shore of Rice Lake. On the premises is a marina providing docking for your own boat, along with electric charging for your batteries, or you can rent one of ours. There is also a fish cleaning house to clean your fish along with 2 freezers to store them.

Services
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker and kettle, toaster, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. The waterfront house has three bedrooms (included a master bedroom), a spacious attic unit with bedroom, living room and a reading corner, a stunning sun room with 3 sides lakefront view, two washrooms, full size kitchen and a direct lakeview covered porch.
At Adventure Bay, we offer 14' aluminum fishing boats with a 9.9 HP and 15 HP motors. We also offer 14.5" bass boat with 25 HP motor and 20"pontoon boats equipped with either a 40 HP or 60 HP motor. To reserve a boat for a future date either call, email or message via Facebook with the type of boat you would like to rent and the date you would like it.
There is a fish cleaning house right by the water along with 2 big freezers for your convenience. If you enjoy fishing, Adventure Bay is for you. Rice Lake claims to have more fish per acre than any other lake in Ontario. It is a shallow lake with an overall average depth of 11 feet and is known for its weed-beds and mudflats which ensure a great variety of fishing opportunities.
Enjoy many other attractions around the Adventure Bay area - with only a short distance away! This beach has a mix of pebbles and sand, a naturalized grass area and a boardwalk. It has an Ecology Garden to the north, which is a naturalized garden maintained by local residents. It is the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world -an engineering achievement of national and international renown.

We were a small group who don't have much experience at a cottage. This was the perfect place to come to which had everything easily accessible and affordable.
-The owners and staff are inviting and accommodating.

Just came back from a 4 days stay at adventure bay. I highly recommend this place. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Great place for family, friends and couples. The resort is very clean and not crowded and well maintained. In the morning you'll see the staff cleaning around. The price for the cottage is very reasonable and the cottages and well equipped with the necessities like stove, coffee maker, toater fridge and utilities also water equipment like kayak and paddle boat if free of charge. Just checked out and left the cottage.It was a great experience for my whole family.My kid loved the waterfront and lots of activities to do :Kayaking, boating,swimming,BBQ.the staff is very nice guy and very helpful.and also convenient location(30 mins to cobourg beach and walmart).It's pity they are not open year around.I will definitely have another visit in the near future.

Spent four days there. Cottages small but well equipped. The beach front is lovely, with well maintained watercraft. Tuee and her staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. A big bonus for us is that it is dog friendly. Our pooch loved it. The place is ideal for young families -playground and indoor toys are on site for your use. The water stays shallow for quite a way out.

Stayed at adventure bay cottage from Friday to Sunday this past weekend. We had an amazing time. The place was cozy yet not crowded and very clean. Staff was very friendly. You could really see the preparations and renovations done to make the place look ready.
There were always enough room to enjoy various activities like kayaking, boating, beach, playground or bonfire.
We were great with respect and staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed.
Can’t wait to go back.
