We have been visiting Tambir for the past 4yrs. The sunsets are so gorgeous and Will goes over and beyond to make his guests feel at home - he treats us like extended family. Our kids love staying here, it's a great spot for star gazing, lakeviews and of course some great fishing.

Tam-Bir Resort harkens back to the days when cottages were not houses, and that's just the way we like it. Tam-Bir resort has 12 units on the southern shore of Rice Lake. The cottages are not fancy, but they have all the amenities one needs for a great vacation, including TV and WiFi at no extra charge. The cottages would be described as "rustic." They have mismatched furniture, mixed cutlery, place settings, mugs, & glasses. This really is part of the appeal for many people like us. Paddle boats are free, and motorized boats are available daily, weekly, or monthly. There is also a pontoon boat

This was our first visit to Tam-bir Cottages and we LOVED it! We can't wait to go back and will recommend it to everyone.
We can't say enough about the owner Will. He goes above and beyond for his guest, treats you more like family. We weren't having the best luck with fishing so he took us out in his boat to his special spots and bammm the fish were almost flying in the boat.
The cottages are rustic, cozy and clean, had everything we needed! The view is spectacular, cottages are close to the water with your own private firepit for those nice relaxing evenings.
