Boyds Tire and Auto Service has been providing exceptional vehicle service to Kelowna's cars and trucks since 2003. Allow our automotive experts to demonstrate our commitment to excellence!
Regular preventative maintenance can save you time and money, but occasionally, things can break down - after all, your vehicle is made of moving parts! From regular scheduled auto maintenance to emergency repairs, our skilled mechanics will get your car or truck back on the road as soon as possible.
An automotive battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical current to a motor vehicle. Its main purpose is to feed the starter, which starts the engine, but it also powers the electrical components of your vehicle. Most cars and trucks operate with a wet-cell battery which has two terminals (either side or top post).
A car that is overheating is a cause for alarm for most drivers and the fear of being stranded and having to pay high towing and repair bills are very real. Coolant systems should be checked and tested to make sure it is topped up, pressurized and is not contaminating any parts. Preventative maintenance like this can save you a lot of money in the long run.
Have you tried all the usual things like checking the battery, checking the fuel line, adding a gas additive to ensure there isn't any water in the fuel tank and checking your spark plugs? It's possible that your ignition needs to be replaced. An ignition module is the device that when you turn the key, the module transfers a signal from a sensor in the distributor to the ignition coil - this is what makes the spark plugs fire.

I googled an alignment shop near me and chose Boyd's for its high reviews. I am glad I chose them; quick, friendly and very knowledgeable service. They really wanted to ensure I was happy with the service, went above and beyond. Chad and Steve were excellent to deal with! I will recommend Boyd's Tire & Auto Service to all my family and friends in Kelowna.

This shop is great!! I had my boat trailer in storage for 3 weeks and was getting ready to load the boat and head home. I discovered I had 1 tire on my trailer that was flat/ had a screw in it. I called these fellas and told them I was a couple minutes away and wondering if they could help me out, they said they would I drove straight there, they immediately fixed the tire in less than 10 minutes! The most incredible part was it when I went upfront to pay, the owner indicated that they don’t charge to fix flats!!! :) it was a very incredible gesture and goes along way in my mind for customer
