Stayed for 3 nights and mostly just used it as base camp for a fishing trip. Can’t really say it was an amazing place but the rooms were clean, air conditioned, and had a nice washroom. The decor is a little outdated which seems to be on purpose but it does need a little updating. The elevator closes a little even if you stand in front of the door and the parking lot was blocked at one end by a truck. Also, the parkade gate is manually operated meaning you have to get out your car to open it.

We had a nice experience on in all. I like how the facade of the hotel looks like. The chandeliers and display were so pretty. Looks like a mansion. They have a welcoming dog which is so okay.
However, entering the room is not so welcoming. Very dark. There are dusts everywhere looks like it wasn't cleaned at all. Uneven floor surface. The walls of the room and elevator had some splashed or drip marks, looks like haven't been wiped for a long time. Bathroom had some molds, too.
If you do not mind this things then you are okay.

Absolutely the worst. Says no smoking, yet the rooms smell of smoke and burn marks in the carpet. A rock is more comfortable than the beds. They spent all the money into the lobby and none in the rooms.

It may have been "grand" in its day, but between the cobwebs in the corner of tje walls urine Staines on the toilet, dirt filled crack in the ceramic floors and the room heater that has only 2 settings- noisy or noisy. The staff at the front counter was excellent. However housekeeping could use more training. The hotel has potential just need TLC on the inside.

Charmingly decrepit. Felt like I was an extra in the filming of Grand Budapest Hotel. Do not miss the extra weird "secret garden" crammed with odd garden ornaments and broken/neglected furniture. If they dumped about 90% of the decor, it might help boost the claim of "grand". It is clean, they accept dogs and have one in the lobby, so this gives them a few extra stars.

Not a bad hotel as far as convenience, but needs refreshing and cleaning. The carpets and chairs in the rooms are stained and or soiled. Our bed was comfortable and the rooms are large. The bathroom was well stocked with everything needed. The hotel itself has an old charm about it and there's an old dog named Barkley who is there at the door to greet you! That made it all worth while.

Requested a deluxe suite with a jetted tub for 2 nights. The tub didn't work so I mentioned it and was moved to another room the next day. I requested a reduction of pricing for the first night since the tub wasn't working and was met with grief from the lady at the desk. She didn't want to do it because I was already on the federal government rate. She eventually did reduce $20 from the first night. However, this place advertises free parking, but I was charged $8.00 per night. When I asked about that I was told it's because I am on a discounted rate. So because I was staying there on a government

This hotel forgot too mention to us of loud construction that sounds like its knocking on our window at 8:am. Not to mention this hotel overprices their room. Rooms aren’t terribly dirty but we did find strand of hairs in our bath tub.
