Wise Victoria Mortgages is an independent mortgage brokerage not tied to any specific financial institution. Our beautiful building, at the corner of Catherine and Dundas streets in Vic West, was built in 1920 originally as a branch bank of the Royal Bank of Canada. The property was purchased for $2,800 and the construction of the building cost a total of $20,500. The manager occupied the upstairs quarters and heat was supplied by a coal furnace, attended to by the staff.
We used Valerie's services to buy our house. What we liked the most from her is, first of all, her friendly demeanour & her patience to explain to us the process of borrowing money & becoming home owners. Her extensive knowledge on all the different financial institutions was more than helpful as well.
