Pretty disappointed with this place. The older lady who is always there (perhaps the owner) is friendly to some, but unwelcoming to others. Her interaction with me was rude. I wanted to buy some olives and asked if I could try one, as there were various kinds, and she said no. There was a container with olive pits sitting right next to the olives... I asked her, are you sure and pointed at the container. And she quickly said those were left from the night before. So my conclusion is that this place is either unsanitary or this woman is just disctiminative towards certain customers. This is not

Just came back from this place, and it is an authentic Greek market and bakery run by a super kind and welcoming woman who has been there for 32 years. Baklava, spinach pies, various cheeses, Greek groceries, homemade Greek yogurt, olives and stuff- this place has it all. I could not have been more pleased with the tastiness of the food - and super fresh too. Baklava of my dreams!

On a positive note, they have some nice Greek products here. However, the prices seem a bit high (a small tray of baklava is $22). More importantly, I got two pieces of Napoleon cake ($3) and they must have been stale because the puff pastry was dry and the cheese had turned sour (I hate to say it, but there was mould on it.) I hope they correct this, as this could be a nice addition to the neighbourhood.
