Our Founder, Colin Irvine incorporated Rockport Property Services in early 2004. He has over 25 years' experience in the construction industry and over this time has noticed a couple constant factors that give contractors a bad reputation; their quality of work and their reliability.
During the late 90's, Colin's work shifted from residential, commercial and industrial construction of houses, schools, warehouses and strip malls into the "leaky condo" crisis, managing projects for large general contracting companies.This is where he identified the need in the lower mainland for a contracting and maintenance company with strong Core Values.

Rockport's team of professionals have expertise restoring and renovating both exteriors and interiors. Often, people get the two mixed up. Restoration is the act of returning something to a former, original or unimpaired condition. This usually is in response to damage done to a property caused by fire, floods, weather or improper maintenance.
Rockport Property Services is a company that can accurately chase the source of water infiltration and leaks. Tracing leaks involves carrying out methodical investigation. This systematically eliminates the possible causes of a leak until the source is identified. The leak may be coming from one or a combination of; roof, exterior walls, balconies, foundations, windows, condensation and internal plumbing issues.
As well as being a contaminant mold is also a causative agents of infections in humans. Many cases of exposure can cause allergic reactions and infections. A few cases of fatal deep infections due to exposure been reported in the immunocompromised people. Other clinical syndromes include brain abscess, peritonitis, and onychomycosis.

The Strata I live in hired Rockport to replace some slate tiles that were cracking and coming off with concrete. You can see the result on the photos. I first contacted the strata building manager who called Rockport to complain. Nothing happened! I then contacted the Property manager who contacted Rockport and this time the contacted me to ask what is wrong. I sent them the photos you can see here and they decided to come out and fix it. They said that it was sunny the day the did the job so it dried before they had the chance to make it smooth. Maybe a valid point but why did you leave it like

Our strata hired Rockport to complete 2 large projects. Rodney was excellent to work with. We were provided detailed scope of work and estimates, Rodney kept us informed on when work would start, stuck to the schedule and completed the work in a timely manner, stuck to the budget, brought issues to our attention immediately and workers were very professional when onsite

We are very happy with our experience dealing with Rockport. They were professional, courteous and showed up when they said they would. Other companies could learn a few things from Rockport. Their customer service was excellent and the repairs were fantastic, 100%. They are the only ones we will be calling in the future.

Rockport not complete the proper remediation of wooden sundecks and installation of glass railings at large apartment complex located in 525 Austin Ave. Coquitlam BC ($1million project). Rockport wasn't fulfiling the duties in the contract (taking short cuts/ not meeting building code, work delays and not keeping their promises) therefore, stata owners will take full legal actions to recover the advance payments and much more. Come and look at their bad work and incomplete work. We already paid over 90% of the cost. Rockport has NO Integrity....

If you are looking for a reliable and professional company this is it! I recently had the opportunity to work with this organization for the first time. I am a small insurance office that needs to be open all of my regular hours even in the midst of a very dusty/messy renovation. Our strata hired Rockport to do a partial remediation of the building envelope as well as replacing other minor items. It was a fairly modest project. It took Rockport ages to complete it! The project was consistently short-staffed. The subtrades hired by Rockport were lazy and unreliable. They were never onsite when needed. The scheduling and project management left much to be desired. Upper Management kept making false and empty promises throughout the project, and was overall unprofessional and rude. Same goes for Office staff. I hope our strata never uses them again. I personally do not recommend

Just had work done on my apartment exterior by these guys, couldn't fault their workmanship one bit. The guys were very pleasant and kept me up to date with the work being done. Very punctual and attention to detail was magnificent. I have two younger kids so of course site safety was my main concern however they exceeded in the HS aspect, as access to the site was secured with no stray, sharp materials lying around. Overall I would highly recommend Rockport properties services.

Our strata just recently had Rockport maintain the decks at our complex. Not only was Rockport on schedule with the repairs but they were very professional, their staff was friendly and hard working. The repairs were done in a timely manor and high quality.
