Dr. Lo was born and raised in Vancouver. She studied at the University of British Columbia in the Faculty of Science where she completed her pre-Optometry requirements. She then attended the University of Waterloo where she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011 and graduated on the Dean's Honour List.
Our comprehensive examination includes a detailed case history looking not only at your past eye or vision problems and concerns, but also your current and future visual needs. A full eye health examination includes a dilated exam of the internal eye, a glaucoma screening test, and a full refraction in order to present you a prescription for spectacles, contacts lenses, or both.
We are located at 104 East Broadway, one block WEST of main on the corner of Broadway and Quebec Street. Please note that you cannot turn onto Quebec St. from Broadway; turn south on either Ontario or Main St. and head across 10th avenue to find our back parking lot. If it is not then they will help you find the closest possible match that works for your schedule.
Accelerated Orthokeratology (AOK) is a non-surgical procedure which can reduce or eliminate myopia (nearsightedness) in both adults and children using specially designed 'retainer' contact lenses. The principle of AOK is similar to the use of a dental retainer used by an orthodontist to realign teeth.
To be successful we must do excellent work to retain our existing patients and to take on new ones. We rely on word of mouth for all our business. Without a large number of satisfied patients spreading the word of our superior service we would have not been around for over 60 years. Our licensed and experienced opticians can discuss your optical needs with the doctor who examined your eyes any time a question arises.

What do I recommend? How about for those who have eyes to see it’s as clear as my vision is now. Right from the moment I walked in I was greeted and didn’t have to wait hardly at all before I got to see… Meaghan. What struck me the most was how professional, articulate, sincere with a feeling of “I’m really here to help you” I didn’t feel at all rushed, she continued on to have me do further tests always with sincerity and my best interest in mind. I've been going to Mount Pleasant Optometry since year 2000 and love how Dr. Kevin Mombray creates such a great vibe at his clinic: hiring very conscientious practitioners (each one has been so helpful and taught me a lot about vision care) and adding character/warmth to the office space by sharing his passions - like the Star Wars action figure… collection, vintage camera collection and world travel mementos! I highly recommend this Vancouver clinic for the consistently high quality of eye care I've received (e.g. Dr. Jessica Chan and Dr. Kelvin So) and the welcoming energy there!
