Your child's first visit - or your own first appointment - sets the stage for a positive partnership that will last the length of the treatment process. This important and highly informative visit is free of charge, and will take 20 to 30 minutes.

Protective Mouthguard Fitting Report

Mouthguards are shock absorbers that do much more than protect smiles. They play a critical role in preventing injuries to the teeth, head and neck! Made of soft plastic or laminate material, a mouthguard covers the teeth to protect them from direct blows. It also separates the upper from the lower teeth to help prevent damage that can occur when the lower teeth hit the upper teeth.

All 4 of us in our family went to Uptown Orthodontics and have had excellent customer by not only Brenda herself but by Gail and all the lovely girls who work in the back. Our son is the last to complete his treatment and we have always been accommodated to receive an appointment around his school hours. This is a beautiful, well kept office with an excellent location in Oakville. I always refer anyone I can to Uptown because they give excellent care and customer service! Thank you Uptown!!!!

Friendly staff and nice environment. Went there to get a broken retainer replaced/ repaired. Was expecting a new one for the price paid but they repaired it. Still a nice experience.

They come across as really friendly folks at first, but the lady at the front desk - Gail is a pain in the neck to deal with .
They say they have extended hours, but they are never able to make appointment after school hours or evenings or weekends. Go figure that out!

All three of my children have had their orthodontic work done by Dr. Chekay over the past 16 years. I highly recommend her and the entire staff. They are always very accommodating whenever we had any emergency issues come up. Great location too.
