We relocated from BC to Ottawa to buy our first house and I contacted Jeff to assist us with locating a home. We went through the process to determine exactly what we wanted (we weren't sure ourselves as first time home buyers) and we weren't sure of even where we wanted to put down roots.

During the pandemic, it's safe to say buying a house has been difficult on all of us. I was hesitant and weary in buying my first home when strong offers have been fierce. I was referred to BGM (Jeff) from a work colleague. When coming to Ottawa in 2019 we chose to work with Laurie Gagnier by the recommendation of a friend. Being a Military family, we have worked with several agents in the past. Laurie and the rest of the team were amazing. She was very professional, honest, friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better agent from start to finish. Laurie is incredibly competent, reliable, professional and diligent in her work. She had the foresight to deter us from buying homes we'd have trouble selling, and used sound quantifiable advice when doing so. She was readily available, she helped us navigate our way to the home that's perfect for us, and I don't know how she did it, but she helped us negotiate a significant chunk off the listing price in a SELLERS market! She is simply fantastic.
