The word 'iam' comes from the greek word iam meaning 'to be present' which is deeply rooted in the style and practice of our teachings, encouraging students away from the 'autopilot' style of movement and thought. We recognize that people have many reasons for starting to do yoga that range from those that are purely physical to emotional or spiritual motivations - We think that every reason is just as good as any other.
Our Energy Exchange Program is an important part of building a great community and offers students the chance to connect within the community while offering time cleaning or supporting our management staff on the front desk with providing an amazing customer experience in exchange for limited access to all the classes our studios offer.
Every dollar you spend at Iam Yoga is an investment in your mental, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing. These are our current student's favourite pricing options but we have many more to choose from in our online store. This is a great way to try out the studio before deciding what type of membership to purchase.
Our goal is to create a space for as many students as possible in every single class we offer, without overcrowding the class or letting space go to waste unnecessarily. All spaces are available to book online up to 7 days in advance and pre-registration is required to save a spot in your favourite classes.
Enjoy an evening learning Partner Yoga and Thai massage sequences that you can share with your spouse, partner, friend or loved one. This workshop will be both energetically stimulating and relaxing. Together with your partner you will open your body, balance your mind, release stress, share positive physical touch and deepen your relationships.

This is a welcoming space where everyone can feel able to come. Even if you have never even tried to touch your toes, Karissa and the team (and the other people who come to class) will help you and answer your questions. Try everything and see what you like, and you will also see what you are capable of. Moreover, you will be happier when you walk out the door, with a happier heart, and that makes the world a better place.

Iam Yoga is easily my favourite yoga studio in the city. The studio is in a great location. Heated rooms get nice and hot. Every teacher has a unique style and is excellent at what they do. Classes run all day, making it easier to fit a class into your schedule. Front desk staff are super helpful and professional. Facilities are great - lockers, multiple mirrors, mat storage. Very excited to be back!

Iam Yoga is the best in town the staff are very polite always smiling when you get in it's a wonderful feeling. The studio is the cleanest of all. It's normal you need to come 10 minutes before classes you don't have to put yourself in a hurry just come early relax and make yourself ready to start a yoga class with among the best instructor .

Iam Yoga was the first place that I practiced yoga, where I felt totally comfortable, accepted, and valued. I had suffered from depression for most of my life and joined through their Blu Matter Project. I was going through a bad time. Even though I didn't feel particularly beautiful, athletic, or like my life mattered that much, the people at Iam made me feel welcome. The studio felt cozy, clean, well-organized, bright, and had positive vibes. Each teacher had a distinct style and personality that complemented each other, and gave me a variety of different classes to choose from, depending on

I have been attending this yoga studio for years. I found it through the Groupon deal which was great and kept going. This studio has beautiful facilities, and a variety of classes and styles. Best of all the staff are welcoming and the atmosphere here is a very healthy, open approach to each person's individual yoga practice no matter their skill level. A gem in downtown Toronto!

I like hot yoga, and the yoga instructors are pretty good, but the customer service of this place isn't the best though. When you have an issue, you might experience rudeness and deflecting blame, as I have had when I was mistakenly almost double charged for one month, and when I expressed interest in renting studio space, with one manager. My experience was with one manager, though. I cannot speak for others. My advice is: be proactive and prepared for these unpleasant things I mentioned if you have an issue requiring managerial help.

The studio does not value customers time. I was only 3 min late to the class as the changing room was fully packed. The lady said that I could not go in to the class anymore and kept telling me why I should have come 5 min earlier in a condescending manner. When I asked her instead of keeping telling me why I should not have been late if there is anything the studio could do since I am already here she said there is nothing they could do but suggested I could email their general e mail and see if i get any response. I expected more respect for others time than preaching with zero flexibility. I

I have been practising at Iam Yoga for a few years. I have practiced at other studios throughout the city. Nowhere quite compares to Iam Yoga. The staff is friendly helpful and warm. The studio is beautiful, always clean and fresh. Iam offers an energy exchange program, which is where you volunteer your time for one shift a week. In return they give you a free membership. It is a great way to connect to the Yoga community. If that's not for you there are many different packages they offer at a different price range. The teachers are wonderful and always approachable if you have any questions

I feel like I have found a new home in the city at Iam Yoga! It has truly changed my life. Nothing but positivity from this location. The staff are super lovely and kind, always saying hello, asking how you are and wishing you a good practice. The teachers are very unique and offer different classes which is good for the yogi that likes diversity! I find each class a new experience and I better my practice with each step into the studio. Truly a great environment. For anyone a bit nervous about getting their yoga journey started, or if you are looking for a new studio to call home - youll find

I have been going here for 2 months now. While the yoga instructors are good I have to say that the management and customer service needs some work.
I arrived 5 mins late due to a late train for a 7:30 am class. I was told they do not allow people to enter the class 5 mins late. Even though I had reserved a spot online. The confirmation email specifically says after 10 mins the spot may be given away. And after 30 mins it is cancelled. I was only 5 mins late. The class was not full. Yet still I cannot get in.
I understand they do not want to disturb the class. But in other classes i have seen

This studio is average at best. The facilities are nice but really crowded. Their sign-in system is completely ridiculous and redundant - you're asked to take a card, sign in on a clipboard, and the instructor collects all the cards at the beginning of class.
The studio is definitely not for beginners with minimal instruction from the teachers, and the yoga practiced is just whatever the instructor feels like making up, not sticking to any sort of core yoga principles.
I came on a Passport to Prana and was told after the class that I wouldn't be allowed to purchase the one month introductory

I bought a Groupon for this studio. When I first went there, the front desk lady reviewed all of their very strict rules about having to sign up in advance, not bringing anything into the class and needing a lock if you required your personal things to be put in a locker. She was very firm about their rules and it seemed so unlike the typical vibe you get from a yoga studio.
Regardless, I proceeded to take a few classes which I really enjoyed. Next thing I know, I was traveling a bunch and had 7 of 10 classes in my class pack and only 3 weeks to use them I had to be out of town for work for most

Purchased the Groupon (10 sessions) and made an effort to try this studio for the first time and I liked it.
You walk upstairs and face a small entrance that gets so crowded right before a class. You take off yours shoes, hang your coat, show them your Groupon and sign the waiver.
Unfortunately the Groupon does not cover tax and they make you pay that out of pocket. *shocker*
The change room's decoration is cute. The room temperature studio (R) is a medium sized room that gets filled up quickly and if you're late by a second, sorry you cannot attend the class. I attended a class with

I think someone mentioned this before but the decor is VERY hipster, which to me is a little off putting...but to each their own. I did find their sign-in procedure kind of confusing. I'm not sure why I have to get a card when I sign in, then write my name on a clipboard with my card letter, and then they just collect at the beginning of class? Also they weren't very clear with where there lockers was (I was new to the place), and so I ended up buying a lock without even realising that I didn't need one because they didn't explain where anything was....At least it was only

I'm on the Groupon deal right now, which is $45 for unlimited classes for 1 month. Facility is beautiful, lots of brick walls and wood trim. There's lots of chilling area too, with long picnic tables, chandeliers and a juice bar. The newly renovated changerooms have lockers and 5-6 showers with rain showerheads, and shampoo/soap dispensers. They have an odd check-in method, might just be for Grouponers or drop ins....You go to front desk and give them your name, they find you in the system, and you get a card. Then when you're all setup in the studio, you place the card in front

Wow this place is nice! I bought a groupon for 10 yoga classes with the intention of trying hot yoga.
I was blown away by the decorations, facilities, cleanliness and studios.
The instructor I had (cam?) was very good and the staff was really nice. I still have 9 more classes to go and can't wait till my next!

Really liked this yoga space.
Dropped in for a few classes while visiting from Vancouver - great daytime drop in rate of $10 with mat and towel. Loved the space itself, lots of great wood and high ceilings. They rate their classes accordingly, loved the more intermediate core focused ones. I enjoyed doing hot yoga here as it wasn't overwhelmingly hot as I've found some other spots to be.
Will visit again whenever in Toronto.

I did a month trial and tried 7 different kinds of yoga.
Let me start by saying I am not huge into yoga but these guys totally changed that for me.
What a great place! There's hot yoga, flow yoga, core yoga, a stretch yoga, a neuro something or other meditation type of yoga.
It was really cool. Some of the classes were very very full, which I imagine is because of the recent Groupons. Anyway, despite being pretty new at yoga, I never once felt uncomfortable, this is because I stuck to the 'all level' classes, but for those that are better at it, there are intermediate and advanced

I bought the $45 Groupon deal for 1 month unlimited. The regular price for a month unlimited is usually about $120 so it was a really good deal.
The studio is rustic and very hipster. There are two rooms upstairs -- one heated and one non-heated. I've practiced in both and find the non-heated room to be a little noisy. The window was kept open in the 12:15 classic yoga class and while I loved the breeze, I felt the outside construction sounds to be intruding to my practice. The heated room was the perfect temperature for hot yoga as well!

I did the candle lit heated yoga class this morning with Ali and really enjoyed it. It was my first time at this studio and it it beautiful. The space is large and decorated for a very peaceful feel. The change rooms have plenty of lockers, full showers, and get-ready area. The class schedule is also varied and allows drop in or pre-registration to accommodate most busy schedules.
I found Ali to be a good instructor for all levels and I'm about intermediate. Her voice is soft and uses a coaching manner that really makes you feel welcomed.
The class at this time had about 9-10 people in

Iam Yoga is another yoga studio that accepts Passport to Prana located at Yonge just South of Charles.
This is a nice looking studio. Big Spacious waiting area with comfy seats.
The change room has 4 showers (with all the supplies you need shampoo, conditioner and soap) but only 1 toilet (hmmmm). The change room is set up really spa like and is quite spacious.
There is only 1 practice room but it is big and spacious with big windows looking over Yonge Street. The room have wooden floor.
The class I attended is a Yin class. They have a lot of candles lit up that make the whole practice room
