Yoga Therapy Toronto was established in 2005 as a centre for individualized health, wellness, education and ongoing research. For over two decades we have travelled annually to India to study, practice and receive the teachings of yoga based on the deep rooted tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya through direct study with his son and successor, T.K.V. Desikachar.
Felicia and Ante are great teachers. It is very clear that they have done years of deep work and practice. It shows up in their interaction with you. Their classes are magical and even a single class can be transformational, esp, Felicia's Yin yoga + Yoga nidra class. I would absolutely recommend their teacher training for future Yoga teachers and also those who want to go deeper for personal development.

We will gather on the first Wednesday evening from November to April to participate in a 'spiritual community' - or what is known as a 'sanga.' The purpose of this monthly meditation group is to practice together as a supportive community.
We will begin with 10 minutes of conscious breathing practice to prepare the body and mind for sitting; followed by a guided seated meditation session for approximately 40 mins; and ending with 10 minutes of lying relaxation. The focus will be on mindfulness and how we can be fully engaged in life.

Please note that these policies are based on current considerations, information and government guidance and will be subject to change as the situation evolves. Begin with Yin postures (holding poses that pressurize the meridian lines), followed by Pranayama (conscious breathing practices), and transitioning into Restorative postures (prop supported poses) accompanied by Yoga Nidra (guided meditation).

Absolutely fantastic!! the first time I ever tried yoga was at this studio. The feeling afterwards was pure relaxation, freeing and content. I tried the restorative class with Felicia and her voice is so soothing that you are truly able to relax. I also really appreciated the fact that they will modify your pose if your not able to do what others are doing, due to your own personal limitations. Just let them know in advance so they can keep an eye on you. Really excellent service, and positive environment to be in. This is truly therapeutic.

I am taking their Teacher Training Program, and I am just loving it. Felicia and Ante are so wonderful, and they really put a lot of emphasis into the diverse uniqueness of each individual and will work with each individual to meet their needs. They are so passionate. They work on the pranayama, asana, chanting, along with meditation. Definitely one of a kind studio.

I'm almost afraid to review this sanctuary of a yoga studio for selfish fear that the classes will get too full!!! That being said, there is already a group of loyal attendees and for very good reason. There is something magical going here at Yoga Therapy from the moment you walk in to the end of class. I've tried various types of yoga and never experienced the sense of being awake, alive, and rested as I do each time I leave the studio, truly therapeutic.

I have been going to Yoga Therapy for 10 months now and have had a consistently excellent experience. The studio has a wonderful, welcoming energy and the teachers are all very good. The stress of the city gets washed away each time I go. I'm really grateful for a studio that is so committed to yoga as a healing and transformational practice, and not just exercise that makes you look good in yoga pants. I highly recommend the studio to anyone interested in a serious yet accessible yoga practice.

So I have checked out a few yoga studios around Toronto. Not one come close to the experience at Yoga Therapy Toronto! I can't begin to tell you that THIS is what yoga is about. Felicia and Ante have been practicing for years and years and years. There are lots of places that treat yoga like aerobic circus exercise, with little/not focus on breathing and the meditative aspects, not to mention the whole ideology behind yoga. You walk in and are immediately enveloped by instant peace, support, and kindness. Taking classes here has not only improved my yoga practice, but made me a better, kinder
