The Eastern Psychology of Yoga is the process of steading the mind through the body via the breath. It is an ancient practice dating back 5000 thousand years, and modern scientific research is validating its benefits for improving our health and wellbeing. Chronic stress can leave us feeling exhausted and isolated in our experience.

As healthcare providers, we work in a stressed and overtaxed system, that has trained us out of self-care. We need to reverse that trauma. If we do not have, we cannot give. Self-Compassion is a skill that literally saved my life. It helps me get through the everyday challenges of balancing my own life and patient care.
