Services
CMC is a neighbourhood music school located in the Roncesvalles - Parkdale - High Park area in Toronto, housed in a beautiful, clean and welcoming century old home on Roncesvalles. We offer music lessons and courses with over 30 professional and caring teachers on our faculty, teaching all genres of music for all levels including RCM and university preparation, from beginners to advanced students, for children and adults alike.
One-on-one lessons are either 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Prior to registering for private lessons, we highly recommend booking a free trial music lesson with us! Our director matches every student to a teacher based on instrument, personality, musical goals and availability. Having a free trial lesson ensures that the teacher you are matched with is a perfect fit for you!
Prior to registering for private lessons, here at CMC we offer a free trial music lesson with a teacher. NOTE: This coming fall 2021, we will be offering in-person lessons in addition to online, but all free trial lessons will continue to be online only until September.

My children have studied at Classical Music Conservatory for about 10 years: including music theory, music history, and piano, from beginner level to ARCT. Lusiana, Erik, Hannah, and Louise provided them with a warm, supportive, humourous, fun, and challenging environment in which to study theory and become better musicians. I can't thank Lusiana enough for her tremendous engagement with my children's musical education, for so many years. And I give all CMC teachers my top recommendation, for combining a very high level of instruction with heartfelt concern for their students' individual needs

My son started at Classical Music Conservatory on the piano when he was just five years old. CMC made sure he was paired with a teacher who suited him perfectly and helped him thrive and excel. Five years later, he is playing daily and loves reading music. Our daughter is following suit and our younger two aren't far behind. Also, the recitals are a lovely touch!

My family has been learning at CMC since September 2019. We loved going in person, both myself as an adult learning the piano and my daughter who participated in the fantastic Musical Preludes program.
With Covid, the school has been so accommodating. Quickly adjusting to online format, and always being supportive as our family's needs have evolved. I would recommend this school to every family! Can't wait until we can be back in person!

Our experience at CMC over the past 3 years has been fantastic. Our daughter takes piano lessons and every teacher she has ever had has been so nice, professional and knowledgeable--they are awesome at making learning fun while teaching excellent technical skills and musical theory. The directors of the music school are also very experienced and organized, and provided a very hands-on approach in making sure our daughter's teachers were always a good fit. My experience taking Guitar lessons at CMC has been absolutely positive. I began online in the spring of 2020 and have grown to appreciate that format. My teacher is particularly intuitive and has guided me into understanding music on a higher level.

If you're looking to put your children in music lessons, CMC is a wonderful place to learn. The owners, Lusiana and Wanda, really care about the development of the students and their office staff are always so friendly and professional.
We have been going for 4 years and our kid's teachers are amazing and very experienced. My daughter always looks forward to her violin lessons with Kenin and I couldn't picture my son learning ukulele with anyone except Brendan. Both their teachers are so encouraging and supportive and know how to challenge our kids to ensure they are continuously improving.

Wonderful teachers and attentive management who really get to know the kids and work dilligently to match them with the right teachers. They have really invested in our kids over the years and we feel like part of a big musical family. Most recently Lusiana and Teiya have been a huge help getting our daughter ready for applciations and auditions for art school. It was so great to have their support.
