Harmony Yoga Pilates Studio is a personalized and diverse studio in Calgary, Alberta. We offer a variety of Yoga and Pilates classes for all levels of students, along with RYT200 and RYT300 Yoga Teacher Training Programs. With retreats, workshops and Yoga Therapeutic Modalities and Applications of Yoga, we are more than a drop-in studio.
Pilates mat classes include focused work on the core, strength and flexibility. Props, such as Pilates balls, weighted balls, noodles, bands and fitness circles are used to increase the intensity of the mat exercises. Yoga classes include asana, pranayama, meditation with mudras andyoga nidra for rest.

Mantrini (Helen) Mikuska is a certified SOYA and RYT500 Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance who has completed 3,480 hours in Ayurvedic and Yoga Teacher Training and workshops. Helen currently has taught 10,730 hours in group and private yoga sessions. Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant with the American Institute of Vedic Sciences.

No, this class does not involve cannabidoil! This is cardiovascular based class which includes calisthenics (exercises using your own body weight to increase strength and flexibility), bijas (quick verbal sounds to heal the physical body) and dance (rhythmic movement). Please bring "indoor" running shoes (clean ones).
The workshops provided by Harmony Yoga and Pilates Studio are absolutely wonderful. Mantrini (Helen) Mikuska offers a variety of interesting workshops that cover philosophy, anatomy, asana, and modifications, useful for both students and yoga instructors. The studio is bright and welcoming, and the calm aura enhances the learning experience.
I have been attending the Harmony Yoga and Pilates Studio on a weekly basis for over 3 years. I started with the studio as my doctors and physiotherapist recommended I try Pilates in order to relieve my chronic back pain. My pain was 7-8/10, which limited my daily activities and significantly affected my ability to sleep.
