I have been studying violin here as an adult beginner with Priya for a couple of years now. She is an excellent teacher and brings a great balance of fun, humour, and skill development to every lesson! Paula (the owner), the other teachers, and even all the other students I run into here are all upbeat, out going, and fun to talk to!

Went there to grab guitar strings and was sure that the prices were from Mars. Expect to pay 6 to 8 dollars more per pack of strings than any other music store. Their clientele must consist of some very wealthy people.
I noticed all their prices seemed very high. If it's guitar stuff your looking for, proceed elsewhere and don't waste your money.
[NEW EDIT] In response to the Owner: You are charging $28.50 for Elixer guitar strings while Long & McQuade and GuitarWorks charge $21.99

Highly recommend this store!!!
I had been thinking to get a ukulele, then I stared to browse it online. I was so impressed by the reviews that praised the lady who works in the store, so I decided to buy my first ukulele here.
After my visit, I would say I made a right decision. The lady is absolutely knows what is she doing. Friendly, patient, professional, I could use more nice words to describe the lady, but you definitely can go to there to feel it yourself.
I also impressed by owner responded to every comment, even it was a complaint. Not a lot of owners can do it nowadays.
Thank you so

Relaxed, but knowledgable. Very helpful
I was looking at spending $200-400 on a ukulele, and a young girl came in looking to spend $50. They spent as much time taking care of the other customer as they did me. I was very impressed and rather touched to see it. Also, I absolutely love the instrument I ended up buying.

I have been taking guitar and piano lessons for more than 1 year at this school, and I like their service. Their staff and instructors are friendly. It has a wide range of classes which are well priced. It has also a great number of teachers for different instruments. The staff provides you with the bio of each instructor, and then you can decide which on to choose. I changed two instructors until I found my favorite one. I only needed to pay for one session each time. The school is also kid-friendly. In fact, most of the students are kids and teens.

Very unprofecional!!
For Christmas I want to get my daughter a few ukulele lessons. Called the Bowtown Music and talked to Kuba. On the phone Kuba said that I can buy drop in card with 3 or 4 classes and I do not have to pay administration fee of $30. When I arrived 30 min later to buy the gift card everything changed because there was another coworker in the store (very unpleasant lady). Now I have to pay administration fee and I need to buy classes with exact dates that they give me...I left the Bowtown store very unhappy. Called Gitar Works on McLeod Trail and guess what!!!! They do not charge
