Tony Romagnuolo started this family bakery alongside his daughter Enza, who generally worked the front counters in those early years, even though she was just a teenager at the time. Since Tony did most of the baked goods in the back, Enza excelled with customer service and steadily over the next ten years or so, the bakery turned into a family business.
The veal sandwich (or veal on a bun) is a tenderized scallopini cutlet lightly breaded and then gently baked tender and topped with our famous tomato sauce. Our fresh veal cutlets are tenderized and lightly breaded, before a quick shallow fry that locks in flavour and tenderness. We then slowly braise it in our home-made tomato sauce and nestle it in a fresh Italian bun.
For over 30 years, Agincourt Bakery & Italian Kitchen has been serving the community with fresh, hot food daily. Specializing in Italian and Canadian homestyle cooking. We offer several different varieties of fresh dough pizza made every day - available by the square slice. Our roasted potatoes are a great side item ofr our hot table, but don't blame us if you make a meal of these tasty taters.
Sfoglia refers to the pastry used in Italian dessert making. Because of its wide-ranging meaning, sfoglia can be used to describe the famous Lobster tail desserts, stuffed sfoglia shells, even the traditional mille-feuille (Napolean) can be called sfoglia in Italy. Think anything with layers and puff pastry, and you wouldn't be wrong saying sfoglia or sfogliatella which translates as leaf or leaves.
Our Tiramisu cake will bring smiles to your whole family! It's something different from regular layer cake because it's so light tasting and has unique textures. The subtle espresso flavour mixes so perfectly with the whipped mascarpone cheese that even coffee haters will be licking their lips on this one.

I absolutely love this family-owned bakery—amazing hot table with plenty to choose from (pastas, lasagna, sandwiches, pizza galore), fresh bread, and a line-up of decadent desserts. All of this is served to you with a warm, beaming smile that you can feel, even from behind their masks! You really can't go wrong with anything here; I've been more than satisfied with everything I've tried.
Personal favourites include the meatball sandwich with eggplant, tiramisu, and almond tart.

I think I'm the only one late to the game, everyone else in the know knows where to find this hidden gem of an Italian bakery and hot plate place. The veal sandwich looks massive and hits the spot with its tender bread and meat. The arancini was really good as well. The Tiramisu was flavourful without being too sweet and the meringue creations were yummy. A feast for all senses.

This place is ridiculously good! Before today it was over five years ago when I moved away from Ontario I last had a veal sandwich from here and been dreaming of it ever since. Today it was no less than delicious, great portions and the most amazing tomato sauce I have ever had. The service is impeccable and treat you like family. My mom raves about the food and for good reason, it is incredible. Best part is their pastries, which hit the spot time and time again! So good and can not wait to go back again now that I’m home!
