In 1999, Dr. Motluk graduated on the Deans Honour list, receiving a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo.

Treatments may include prescription eye glasses, contact lenses, low vision aids and drug therapies.

I had an appointment with Dr.Ferguson for an eye exam and neuro eye exam for my post concussion symptoms. The test itself was very hard on me and difficult. Dr.Ferguson was professional, compassionate and super helpful. He took his time and was very informative. He made sure to tell me to let him know when and if I needed breaks and answered all my questions and concerns with empathy. I left crying with happiness that I found a doctor to help with my vision and balance problems. I have two children with amblyopia and this was an amazing office (I preferred it to pediatric ophthalmologists I had used in the past), however they now refuse to see my children because of the job action. I don't care so much for routine exams, but this has left us scrambling for proper eye care for children.

Appointments only and everyone gets screened at the door. All the staff are very professional, and the equipment gets wiped down before use. Dr. Westley Bond is very thorough and makes sure to answer any questions after an eye exam. He also isn’t pushy about purchasing glasses there. A regular eye exam is $150 and includes dilating drops. Getting your PD measured to purchase glasses online is $45.

Refused to see my daughter, a client for her entire life, when she had pain and irritation in her eye. Was told to go to eye institute: no referral done and they don’t take self referrals. Called back and she was told to go to ER, where she was misdiagnosed and not treated. Refused to see her again when I called myself telling them she needed an… exam. Called another office in Bayshore Mall, they squeezed her in and sent her to a specialist quickly. Because of all the delays, she is blind in her right eye and on a course of steroids to try and save as much of her vision as possible

The optician was quite rude and completely unhelpful. When they messed up the measurements for my glasses, they failed to claim responsibility and did not offer a solution. I was almost in tears, as my hope's of clearer vision were shattered and this spiteful woman did not seem to care. Full service optometry should include staff from every aspect, working as a team with the shared goal of better vision for the client. You won't get that at Stittsville Optometry.
