I've been checking out their stock for the last couple of years and the men's shoes continue to be great (sort of like the menswear department at The Bay) but any of the ladies' mid-priced shoes don't seem well made. Sure, they are made in Italy but not the good stuff. The sale items are old fashioned narrow pumps from the 80s and 90s.

I am not that into shoes. Shoes are expensive and shoes are just footgear.

But I bought shoes which were stylish and lasted years in this place. Very good quality at a fairly expensive price which reflects that quality.

My favorite dress shoes, for a guy who thinks $50 all-black Vans or Nike Frees are the bomb*. Just stylish.

These are cracking good Italian shoes and if you ask their salesfolk, they will run you through your choices. Mine were "we have sucky weather here. I need shoes that deal with it".

* I buy during their highly discounted after-xmas sale but I would almost

The First thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of leather. This is a sign that this place is the real deal. If you're a women who loves shoes, you will love this place. Although most of the styles are basic, there are some cool subtle treasures to be found. The service is friendly. The prices are expensive, however, for what is expected for the market.

Lost a star b/c lack of friendly service, as the 2 ladies just seemed content standing where they were while doing paperwork as I browsed, though they did ask if i needed anything.

Unlike most ppl, I actually do prefer sales ppl to follow me around the store so if I need something, they're right there ;)

High-end quality handmade Italian shoes, real leather, better be at average price of $375 for men's shoes. there is a clearance section 30-50% in the back.

Style-wise, theyr'e pretty good, plus dressy & casual ones, plus a few high boots which I certainly wouldn't wear

How this business get 4 stars is a mystery to me.

I was walking on the drive today and saw some cute children shoes on their display. So I thought to check them out, see if I can find something nice for my baby girl. I went in there, the store was empty, well of people of course, the store was filled with nice shoes. I saw two ladies chatting behind the counter, and I gave them a smile as I always do because I am a nice person (I believe!). And they COMPLETELY ignore me. So I thought ok, may be they are busy. So I when to the section where they keep kids shoes, which is on the other side of the

In terms of mens shoes.... Definitely a set up from Aldo and their ilk in terms of styling and such. I do believe Kalena's shoes to be made in Italy or at least thats what it says on the box. However I've never heard of these brands before and judging by the craftsmanship i seriously doubt these shoes are welted. In fact, most (if not all?) are glued on jobs, which means for the prices they charge.... well I don't have to spell it out for you.

The only place in town that I go to for shoes. A small but impeccable selection of both mens and womens fine European footwear, as well as some exquisite handbags.

Three years ago I bought a luscious pair of black patent leather peep-toe pumps here. They cost over $250 - on sale! - but they are still very much alive and well, my favorites as a matter of fact. A pair of black over-the-knee stiletto boots that cost half a paycheck and should come with a parental advisory have also held up nicely for two years and counting.

Instead of buying three pairs of cheap, synthetic shoes that are on everyone

Italians know how to make shoes and leather shoes at best.

Unpretentious, yet so elegant, Kalena has been around forever and often carries brands and designers we don't even know exist, but they're high-end, Italian and European designs that rival that of Holt Renfrew or Browns. You can tell it's quality over quantity, as usually there is only a few sizes of each shoe, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. On average, you can spend a few hundred dollars on shoes, so save some cash and then spend it here.

Clearly, Kalena's shoes knows quality footwear, as they've been in business since 1967 and show no signs of slowing down. Named after the original owner's hometown in Italy, Kalena's stocks high-end, high-quality leather footwear for men and women and prices reflect that standard so don't expect to find a cheapy pair of flip flops in this joint. Be sure to check out the ladies fancy footwear, there are some very unique designs to be had here, regardless of cost.

They do have sales now and again, so it is worth it to inquire with the lovely sales staff so you can bring

Kalena's has been selling Italian shoes since 1967. You'll find things here that you won't see in other area stores as Kalena's carries several exclusive brands. You'll find high quality shoes for men, women, and even babies. But those quality Italian leather baby shoes don't come cheap. Try $115!
