Does your boat or engine insurance provide coverage against cold weather damage? Probably not! Your insurance probably does not cover damage caused by lack of maintenance either. You may cause damage to your engine if you haven't winterized, especially when the temperature drops. Protect your engine and your pocketbook by winterizing your engine.

Do you ever walk into a store and get the feeling that you’re just not wanted there? You get to feeling like they’ve already looked you up and down and realized you’re not gonna spend multiple thousands of dollars with them and so essentially your not really worth much effort? Well that’s the experience I’ve had on multiple times with Haruna! I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt but after this last experience I will never go back there! It seems to me if you’re in the service business then “serving” and helping is exactly what you should be doing No matter if you’re

Rain Man! If you've seen the movie, you'll understand what it means when I say that Jaison is the "RAIN MAN" of boats! The best there is in Vancouver! There truly is no better place for boat service and parts. This is a family run business that dedicates itself to on-time service and expert advice. If there's a part you need....you must call them, if they don't have it in stock...it's readily available and they'll find it for you faster than you can slap a family member. I would NOT go anywhere else in Western Canada without first calling them. If you want a discount....talk to Jaison and tell

The guys here specialize in deception and dishonesty! Just look at their own guys giving their company 5-star reviews. Most other reviews are terrible.
Poor work, poor morals, and poor customer service all around. Stay away if you value your unit!!!

Long story but let’s just say I will not use them and have shared my story with many of my fellow boating friends. Too bad as they are conveniently located to me.

Overpriced with terrible stiching (wavered all over the place) and blew out just over a year. I think the owner did the stiching himself though. He was a grumpy dude. Probably pissed of his seamstress.

Sort of a hole in the wall but once you get close to them they are very helpful. Jason is the man to talk to. He has spent a lot of time on the phone with me giving me advice and explaining prices while trying to help me get the best price for my clients. I also work for a marine repair company.

Everytime I go there's only a shop keeper person. Doesn't seem like any mechanics or person with knowledge is ever there. The shop keeper would phone the mechanic or whoever and that's how I get the correct part # to buy the part I need. I guess it gets the job done.

Kudos to Haruna, Ordered a lower shift cable kit last Oct,, never got around to opening it until about a week ago when I figured it was time to fix the boat only to find that a bag of parts were missing from my kit.
Called Jason to explain my situation, without hesitation he sent me the bag of parts that were missing , No charge and Free shipping and this is 7 months after my original order.
Any other parts I need, I'll just give the guys at Haruna a call

Haruna has the worst customer service out of any shop I've ever dealt with. Our first motor repair took over one month and after two trips on the water, it needed another repair which took an additional three weeks. We ended up missing the entire second half of our summer sailing season. Not once did they call to give us an update or to let us know when it was ready to pick up. They also refused to provide us with copies of part orders or any documentation as to what they had actually done.
On two separate occasions, we showed up to pick up our motor and they had closed the shop more than an hour

My 50 HP Merc did not start. Harish looked at it and concluded that it was the starter and gave an estimate of around $350 plus taxes. The final bill became $650 plus taxes, including 5 hours of labor for a simple of job of replacing the starter On top of that, the steering wheel became seized and the guy has the audacity to say he knows nothing about it and that we brought it in in that condition. A total rip off and frustrated experience dealing with this guy and this shop. Shame !

These guys are awesome! Had some major boat problems and they fixed it no problems at all. Jaison and his dad are extremely knowledgable and have plenty of experience to show. Their ability to diagnose my problem was quick = less money for "diagnostics". Reasonable pricing, honest and quality work.

Had a problem with my mercury engine. called around to various shops explaining the problem I had and even took the boat into a couple shops with no luck fixing my issue. then someone recommended Jaison from Haruna to me so I thought I would give them a try. Within minutes of him looking at the engine he diagnosed the problem and fixed it rite away. Harish even took a look at my top and explained how to take care of it so it last longer. Haruna is the only shop I will ever go to now. The level of service and knowledge is unmatchable from what I have seen around town.

If you have to deal with this business, make sure to write down all details into a contract. I had a verbal agreement with Jason when I purchased new Mercury from him that he woul repair my old Mercury engine and sell it through his shop and we would split the proceeds. One year later I walked into the store and was told the engine is pending sale for over $1100 but my portion would be only $80.
